Detailed information about the tasks of the Heroes' Marathon in October

Greetings!

The first month of the marathon is ending, and the tasks for October have already become known. In this article we will analyze all the tasks, down to where to get them and how to complete them. If you want to know how tokens are awarded, then you should take a look at my previous article. You can earn up to 270 tokens for participating in October.

Mandatory tasks (15 days)

As promised by mail, these tasks will no longer change, and now is the time to chew on each task. Please note that a mandatory task can only be completed once a day, that is, if you complete two or more tasks from the mandatory tasks, you will still receive one point. Again, it's all written about here.

The required tasks are presented in order of increasing difficulty, but some may find them all easy, while others may find them all difficult, so here’s a little hint from me.

Osh Castle (mobs)

It is enough to do one of four tasks in the Osh Castle to choose from: “Glade of cannibal flowers”, “Guardians of the Orchids”, “Warning to Travelers” and “Deception and Trap”. The map shows daily signs in Osh Castle.

Please note that if you are unable to complete a quest due to an enemy faction, then try running to another quest, and if it doesn’t work out at all, then note that the truce in this location lasts only 30 minutes.

Boards with tasks

Guardian of the Ringing Gorge (raid boss)

The task is taken in the “Bloody Dew Gorge” on the altar after the war in the location ends. The NPC does not appear immediately, but only after Gardum says “The earth is soaked in blood. Open the gates!

The Bloody Dew Gorge event ends at 16:35 and 20:35 Moscow time (the dew occurs twice a day, and the quest is daily). An NPC appears on the altar and gives two tasks: to the gate and to Gardum. You just need to do the quest for Gardum “Keeper of the Ringing Gorge”, it is this that counts towards the marathon, and after killing Gardum, the quest for the gate can be canceled. It is enough to hit Gardum once. If you die, but managed to hit, the quest will still count, the main thing is not to be reborn.

Quest for the marathon

Until they crumble to dust (Mass PvP)

This quest applies to the event before Gardum, but does not apply to it when there is mass PvP. Here the quest is taken not after the end of the war at the Bloody Dew Gulch location, but at the beginning of the war at 16:00 and 20:00 Moscow time. In this task we need to destroy the chains and hands that give points for the quest, and also allow a point in favor of our faction.

The problem is that if you didn’t make it to one point, then you missed a couple of points for the task, but if you didn’t complete the task when others did, no one will worry about this, since if you continue to destroy chains and hands, you can lose to the enemy factions at the end of the war. You can fail to make it in time for various reasons, but regardless of the reason, if you didn’t make it to the point on time, then you missed it, and no one cares what and why.

This task can be completed in the dew at 16:00, and then completed at 20:00. By the way, if you did complete this task on the first dew, then you can do it again on the second dew on the same day, only if you do it, it will still count one point towards the marathon, and if you don’t finish it, then rejoice, the next day for sure you will do it.

Battle for Efen'Hal (raid boss)

Efen begins when a war begins in the Efen "Hal location, and 30 minutes before the start, a raid is usually assembled in the faction and/or alliance chat. At the S.H.I.E.L.D. outpost, three tasks are given that must be completed for the marathon. These are quests for mobs for each wave, and on each wave there is a boss, Kir'fer. This is a fairly simple quest that can be done with at least half the raid, since the Anubises do all the work.

Forbidden Secrets (Raid Boss)

This quest is for the boss of Ernard's Library on the third floor, and the quest is given automatically to all players near the boss when someone hits Tacitus the Bitten (usually the tank).

Boss type: Usurper. This means that it must be treated the same as on the bloody and ghostly legion. That is, to have a raid. Having gathered, let the tank aggravate the boss, and everyone else stand behind him so that he doesn’t run. After the attack, DPS begins and the boss will not cause problems.

Tacitus the Bitten

Thunderstorm over the sea (octopuses)

This is a daily task given by the NPC at the portal for the Eye of the Storm event; the portal itself is located in the capitals of the continents (Ost-Terra, Marianhold, Sparkling Coast). It is necessary to kill five giant octopuses that are located in the vicinity of the “Archipelago of Lost Ships”.

This event requires a sharpened Galleon, so I advise you to try to find a raid on octopuses at 14:00 or 22:00 Moscow time. I do not advise those who read this guide to make a Galleon, because it will be expensive, it’s one thing to make it, and then you need to sharpen it.

Octopuses appear at one of the three points below. Therefore, before going to the octopuses, you should first find them, and then just lead the galleon there. In addition, there may be players from another faction at the octopus spawn, so you need to be careful. The octopuses last for 55 minutes, after the time has expired they simply evaporate instantly. The octopuses may end earlier because they appear in waves, and if each wave is quickly drained, the octopuses may run out.

Octopus spawn locations

On the Frontline (Mass PvP)

This is the Battle of Duskshire, which begins when war breaks out in the Golden Plains location. After the start of the war, a portal to the golden plains opens in the capitals of the continents; within 10 minutes you can take the task from the NPC next to your faction’s well. This task is quite simple - it is enough to kill 10 players of the enemy faction, and if you are in a raid, then the quest will count for helping to kill the target.

You don't have to complete Duskshire if you completed the 10 kill challenge for the marathon. Whether to stay or not depends on you, your RL and the faction itself in general.

Additional tasks: second line (from five to 25 days)

To get tokens for the second line, you need to go to Nagashar once and once to Dauta, but not just go through the full dungeon, but take the quest from the board, this particular quest counts towards your marathon. Officially from the community manager: by completing the quest for dauta and nagashar, you can get two points. In addition, if you have a pumped-up twin, then by completing these quests on it, the points will also be counted. Well, as always, these tasks can be completed for crystals, but mandatory ones cannot.

Both dungeons are not easy, but not particularly difficult either, it’s just that in each dungeon the final bosses can kill everyone. I would advise going to these dungeons from 4k GS, and 3k GS only if there is someone to carry the dungeon for you.

If you don’t use twinks, you can close all three cells in 13 days, but on the condition that you close the quest in Nagashar and in Daut on the same day. If you use twinks, then in a week.

First, the assembled raid goes to Nagashar, and then only to Dauta, because you can teleport to Nagashar, but not to Dauta, you need to sail to it from Kaor-Nord in Inistre. In general, journey stones may become more expensive.

The first and fourth rooms in Nagashara are very easy, but the fifth room is very difficult, and without knowing the tactics you won’t be able to pass any of the room options, so refer to this list with video in case of problems:

  • Fifth room: Milik (Parselmouth Carmina)
  • Fifth room: Mage (Leruan Wraithtongue)
  • Fifth room: Archer (Anorina's Wyrmtongue)
  • Last room of the marathon: Barraga the Mad

Dauta is too simple to give guides on it, but I will make you happy. Dauta drops a Pink Dolphin with a 100% chance, maybe one day it will appear in yours too.

Pink Dolphin

Additional tasks: third line (from five to 20 days)

In order to close the cells in the third line, you need to complete the task “Exploring the Reading Rooms I”. The task is taken at the entrance to the Ernard Library on the notice board. It is enough to kill 20 mobs on the first floor of the library in the reading rooms. PvP battles on the first floor of the library are prohibited.

By the way, this task can also be completed for crystals or using twins, since completing the task on twins will also give you a point in the marathon.

Ernard's Library and Quest

Additional tasks: fourth line for 300 crystals

First of all, let me remind you that once you unlock a task, you will not need to unlock it again. This month you need to accumulate 10,000, 20,000 or 30,000 honor points. This is very easy if you go to arenas, lists and world events. Don't know what we're talking about? Read my next guide for more details on this: How to Earn Honor Points Every Day.

Conclusion

I hope that it has become more or less clear to you what the marathon is like in October. By the way, 270 tokens for October is a lot, so it seems that the localization and testing of update 4.0 is going well, and the approximate end date of the marathon on November 19, which is indicated on the game promotions page, already looks like the truth. We hope that update 4.0 will be installed this year. We wish good luck to the ArcheAge team!

This is the third part of the guide on leveling up in Archeage and we will talk about the locations Two Crowns and the Peninsula of Shooting Stars. Unfortunately, I didn’t have time to finish the notes on these locations, so this is more of a “second-and-a-half” part, rather than a third. However, given the imminent release, I want to publish it as is, since I’m sure you’ll reach two crowns before I add another location. As always, I would appreciate any clarifications, corrections or additional information.

All about small advice, awards and methods of obtaining military merits

Greetings. IN ArcheAge Elections are held monthly, following which a “Small Council” is formed. In this article you will learn how to take part in the elections and how to get on the list of candidates for voting yourself.

In order to join the council, you must first be on the list of candidates. The list is some of the top players who have earned more military merit than anyone else in a given month. It consists of fifty players, but only the top 20 faction players will be voted on.

List of candidates

Voting takes place in the first week of the month. The accumulation of military merit ends on election day, that is, on Wednesday at 23:59 Moscow time. Candidates are given 24 hours to recuse themselves on Thursday. The voting itself takes place on Friday and Saturday. When the accumulation of military merit ends, then everything military merits accumulated over the previous month are transferred to leadership and are reset to zero for the current month’s savings. Leadership determines whether a player will be eligible to be on the candidate list and be eligible to vote. The candidate must have at least level 30 and 500 military merits, and 200 military merits are enough to vote.

Election rules

At midnight on Sunday, a Small Council of ten players is formed. Voting is secret, but you can see from the formed council which players received the most votes.

Small Council

All members of the small council receive a cloak, which increases the character's stamina by one hundred units and gives a buff within a radius of 25 meters to all players of the allied faction:

  • Lord Commander's Cloak - the speed of using the skills of allies, their pets and vehicles increases by 2%, and the skill indicator - by 2 units.
  • Deputy Commander's Cloak - damage to the skills of teammates, their pets and equipment increases by 2%.
  • Military Advisor's Cloak - the movement speed of teammates, their pets and equipment increases by 2%.
  • Cloak of the Cavalier of the Small Council - the resistance of teammates, their pets and vehicles to all types of damage increases by 2%.

Cloak of the Nui Alliance, Harnian Alliance and Fortune Hunters (Pirates)

How to take part in the vote

In order to select one of the candidates, you need to go to the voting table, which is located in the faction headquarters (Marianhold, Ost-Terra and Gallows Bay), indicate a participant from the list and click the “Vote” button.

How to earn military merit

There are three ways to earn military merit.

Method one: participation in world events

For completing world event tasks, you can receive ten military merits:

  • the offensive of the bloody army (bloody legion);
  • advance of the phantom legion (phantom legion);
  • hateful gaze (observer's gaze);
  • on the front line (Battle of Duskshire);
  • thunderstorm over the sea (giant octopuses)
  • conquering the Eye of the Storm (destroying the storm crystal or touching the standard of the faction that repaired Isa's lighthouse, in addition, 20 military merits are given for this task);
  • battle for Efen "Khal;
  • Battle of Whalers' Cove;
  • break the shackles (battle of bloody dew gorge)

In total, you can receive up to 110 military merits daily. You can find out more about how to do them in this article.

Method two: PvP

For killing opponents from the enemy faction during the war, the player receives from one to ten military merits (maximum 50).

Military merit for killing a player

Method three: likes

As part of a squad or raid, players have the opportunity to “like” someone. This can be done only once a day, but to do this you need to have at least 200 leadership points. A player who has been rated receives Military Merits at the stroke of midnight (maximum of fifty Military Merits per day). The player's rating affects the number of stars that are displayed when voting. "Dislikes" can also affect the number of stars displayed when voting, as well as reduce the military merit received for "likes".

Player rating

Each advisor has the ability to give a call so that all faction players are teleported to the capital. This can be done a maximum of five times a day and no more than once an hour. Players who accepted the call will not be able to receive it for an hour.

Mobilization order

Also, advisers can post a notice on the notice board at command headquarters. However, the required resource for delivery is selected randomly.

Quest from the notice board for the Harnian Union

If one of the nation's unions announces its intentions to unite with one of the system factions, then the members of the Small Council receive a notification by mail, which gives them the right to choose whether the union of nations remains an enemy or becomes an ally.

Speaking of the union of nations, if a player is a member of the Small Council and moves to another faction, he will lose his seat.

Notification

Also, members of the Small Council have the right to sit on any of the chairs at the command headquarters. In addition, you can take a place in the command headquarters of the enemy faction.

Command headquarters

The rewards for all members of the Small Council are the same, however, to receive the reward, you need to work a little. Please note that to receive these rewards you must be a member of the Small Council and the reward will be sent at the end of the term. There are three types of rewards:

  • Bronze box - you must accumulate at least two thousand military merits and give 75 mobilization orders. Contains a bronze figurine of an advisor and a temporary weapon of your choice from the era of legends.
  • Silver Box - you must accumulate at least three thousand military merits and give 75 mobilization orders. Contains a silver figurine of an advisor and a temporary weapon of your choice from the mythical era.
  • Golden Box - you must accumulate at least four thousand military merits and give 100 mobilization orders. Contains a golden figurine of an advisor, a temporary weapon of your choice from the era of the Twelve, and a personal engraving “Perfect Gornian Heraldic Lion Engraving” with a 100% chance of being applied, which gives +300 resistance to attacks in PvP.

Small Council Rewards

Weapons from the council give a bonus to health from 3000 to 5000. The following types of weapons are available to choose from (the quality and bonus to the amount of health depends on the box received):

  • Tempered Claymore of Power (greatsword);
  • recurve bow of power;
  • battle staff of power (two-handed staff);
  • crushing hammer of power (two-handed crushing).

Examples of weapons for four thousand military merits

Conclusion

In order to touch this part of the content, you need to have a lot of time in the game, especially if you want to get at least some sense from the Small Council, and specifically the engraving, the price of which reaches five thousand gold. Unfortunately, figurines, as before, can no longer be sold to NPCs and get a lot of gold, since their price is now a couple of silver. If you don’t take the engraving, then being in the Small Council may be pointless.

Free MMORPG ArcheAge opens up vast possibilities for players. Moreover, the possibilities of the game are so rich that novice players are often lost what to do, where to go, what to do. We would recommend starting your passage of ArcheAge by reading this guide, which describes the main features and capabilities of the game.

Character Creation

Before starting the game, all users will have to select a race. It is worth considering that, as conceived by the developers, all players are initially divided into two large hostile factions, each of which includes 2 playable races:

The Western Continent faction includes the Nuian and the Elves.
The Eastern Continent faction includes the Harnians and Ferres.

If you plan to start the game with a friend, choose one race to start from the same location.

Each race has certain racial bonuses, but these bonuses do not have a special impact on the gameplay. Does not affect the characteristics of the characters and their gender.

Specializations in ArcheAge

Specialization in this game is a set of active and passive skills, grouped into 10 areas. Of the 10 available specializations, the player can choose 3. By combining 3 skill branches, the player forms a specific character class. In ArcheAge, by the way, there are 120 possible classes, although not all of them are viable.

At the character creation stage, only 6 specializations will be available to you:

Attack- Melee skills are collected here. If you prefer to fight in close combat using swords, spears, hammers, etc., then this is your choice.
Magic- magic skills responsible for causing damage are collected here. This branch is designed for battle mages.
The pursuit- branch for archers.
Healing- magical skills responsible for healing. These skills are designed for those who prefer to play as support classes.
Mysticism- magic aimed at controlling the enemy and causing damage. A branch for mage controllers.
Stealth- a branch for assassins who prefer to attack enemies suddenly, from invisibility.

First steps in ArcheAge

You shouldn't have any particular difficulties leveling up your character - during the game you will constantly be given tasks that will allow you to quickly increase your level and earn some money. Completing quests is the fastest way to level up your character to high levels. By completing quests you will gradually discover new locations and get acquainted with the world of ArcheAge.

Often you will come across tasks, to complete which you will have to kill a certain number of mobs, collect a certain number of quest items that are rarely found in the location. In this case, competition may arise between players for limited resources. To complete the quest quickly and without conflicts, you can create a team or raid with other players and complete the quest together.

The second and third specializations become available to players at levels 5 and 10. Before this, it is advisable for you to decide what kind of character class you are going to create. In total, 120 classes can be created in the game, but there are several basic classes that are most popular in the game. We will look at them below.

Combo

As you play, you will learn that a number of skills, when used in combination with some other skills, become more effective - the damage increases, the cooldown time between using the ability decreases, etc. The description of each skill indicates all possible effects and combinations. Since creating a combo usually requires skills from different skill trees, this is one of the factors influencing the choice of skill trees when forming a class.

Fighters

Assassin and Assassin (Attack/Stealth/Hypnosis and Assault/Stealth/Resistance) - these characters attack enemies from invisibility, deal huge damage and hide again.
Champion (Offense/Stealth/Defense) - warriors with good defense who fight in the front ranks, deal high damage and can control a single target.

At early levels, fighters have access to control skills from the Stealth and Attack branches: Cobra Throw and Dash. They can be used to attack mobs in the back using the Eviscerate skill. This will allow you to save on healing and mana. When attacking head-on, the Triple Strike skill does more damage.

Archers

This class specializes in ranged attacks and is characterized by high mobility and high damage.

For archers, the obligatory branches are the Pursuit and Stealth branches. The third specialization is chosen based on your preferred playstyle:

Defense will help create a versatile and tenacious character.
Resistance will give increased mobility and protect your character from enemy control skills.
Healing is good for players who prefer to play PvE, as they will have the ability to heal. But for PvP such a build will be of little use, since it will lose anti-control skills.
Hypnosis will give your character the ability to control the enemy and increase magical defense.

Until level 10, an archer does not have powerful attacking skills, so you will have to level up using the skills Jagged Arrow and Stunning Shot from the Pursuit branch and Eviscerate and Cobra Throw from the Stealth branch.

At level 10, archers will gain the powerful attack skill Avenger's Thrill. But it requires quite a lot of mana, so it is recommended to use it together with the Archer Stance skill.

Magi

There are many different mage builds in the game, but usually they can be grouped into three broad categories: AOE damage to a large number of enemies, dealing maximum damage to a single target, control of the enemy.

Sorcery/Hypnosis/Inspiration or Sorcery/Mysticism/Inspiration are more suitable for PvE against a single target. And for solo PvP, the Magic/Resistance/Mysticism, Magic/Stealth/Hypnosis or Magic/Stealth/Inspiration builds are more suitable.
Mages focused on AoE damage usually choose Sorcery/Mysticism/Defense or Sorcery/Mysticism/Resistance. Such magicians have to constantly be in a crowd of enemies, since the cast goes around the magician.

At the initial stages of the game, magicians mainly use the Fireball skill from the Sorcery branch. Fireball is enhanced by Ice Arrow. Frostbolt is usually cast after the first Fireball. All other spells require a lot of mana and are therefore rarely used.

If you chose the Mysticism branch, then actively use the Death Blade skill. This branch also allows you to replenish mana using the Energy Absorption skill.

Tanks

Heavily armored fighters, whose task is to hold opponents and protect allies, are divided into two groups in ArcheAge:
Classic tanks (Attack/Defense/Healing or Attack/Defense/Resistance) are commonly used in PvE. They are very tenacious and are able to withstand attacks from mobs for a long time.
Controller tanks (Mysticism/Defense/Healing or Mysticism/Defense/Resistance) fight more often in PvP. They can run into a crowd of enemies and cast debuffs that weaken opponents.

If you have chosen the Mysticism branch, use the Death Blade skill more often. If you chose Attack, then your main attack skills are Charge and Triple Strike.

Healers and support

Healers (Healing/Resistance/Hypnosis or Healing/Resistance/Defense) must heal, this is their main task. The Defense branch allows you to wear robes at high levels, and the Hypnosis branch gives more opportunities for PvP.
Bards (Inspire/Defense/Hypnosis or Inspire/Defense/Resistance) are a support class. They strengthen allies.

Support classes have the hardest time leveling up because they don't have powerful offensive skills. The main damage skill of Light and Darkness healers has a cooldown of 5 seconds. But the combination of Light and Dark + Immolate is still their best attack skill. The Bards' attack skill, Tuning Fork, also has a cooldown of 3 seconds. These classes are best trained in a group with other players.

Resetting skills

All learned skills can be reset at any time using a special button located under the branch of these skills. The cost of resetting one skill is 50 silver.
Players can also reset their specialization from special NPCs standing near the resurrection statues. Specialization can be reset for 1.5 gold.

Equipment

The ability to use various equipment in the game is not tied to a specific specialization. There are three types of armor - fabric (magic), light and heavy. Heavy armor is vulnerable to bludgeoning damage, light armor is vulnerable to piercing damage, and fabric armor is vulnerable to cutting damage. When choosing equipment, you should take into account the bonuses that are given for using a full set. Armor elements included in one set provide additional bonuses to attack power, mana and health if 3, 5, or 7 items from the set are worn.

Cloth armor is commonly used by mages as it provides bonuses to protection against magical damage, increases spell casting speed, and increases movement speed. But at the same time it has poor physical protection. The main parameter for magicians is Intelligence.
Light armor is usually used by archers and fighters. It increases attack speed and provides average protection against physical damage and spells. Archers select kits that increase Dexterity and Endurance, and fighters - Strength and Endurance.
Heavy armor is more suitable for tanks, some magicians and healers who have to be in the thick of battle. Tanks select armor based on Endurance, while Bards and Healers select armor based on Intelligence, Spirit, or Endurance.

Death

Dying in ArcheAge does not have any special consequences for players. If you are killed by mobs, then some of your equipment may break (repaired by NPCs) and you will lose some of the experience gained. Experience can be partially restored from the Nui statue. If a player dies in PvP, items are damaged by 5%.

Money

Bronze/Silver/Gold are the main means of payment in the ArcheAge world. For them you can purchase most game items from NPCs, pay taxes and buy things at auction. Money drops as loot from mobs, is given as a reward for completing quests, and is earned by trading packs.
Delphic Stars are the currency on Trade Island. Delphic stars can be used to purchase blueprints for building houses, a trading schooner, and various gliders. You can earn Delphic Stars by selling packs of regional goods to special NPCs. It is worth noting that there are two types of packs in ArcheAge: construction and trade. Construction ones are needed to build houses and ships, and trade ones are sold to merchants for Delphic stars and gold.
Crystals are a premium currency that can be purchased with real money. You can use crystals to pay for a premium subscription and buy items in the game store.

Useful items and ingredients

Be sure to leave the following ingredients in the jar and inventory:

Akhium - you will need it for crafting in the future
Moon dust - necessary for alchemy and the creation of runes, journey stones, moon stones and various magical items.
Bags of gold - contain money, open by double clicking on them.

When killing mobs, you will sometimes come across various pieces of equipment. Low-quality items can be immediately sold to NPCs, more valuable items should be broken to obtain akhium, and some items will be needed for future crafting.

The following items are broken down into akhium:

Armor of green, blue, purple and orange colors - blue akhium drops from it, used for crafting armor;
Weapons are green, blue, purple and orange - they produce red akhium, used to create weapons;
Jewelry of green, blue, purple and orange colors - green akhium is mined from it, used to create teleport stones and jewelry;
Crescent runes will yield moon dust, which is used to create runes to sharpen weapons and armor.

Things are broken down into components with a special “New Moon Stone”. It is sold by the NPC Kuznets, who can be found in all major settlements. After purchasing the New Moon Stone, right-click on the item you want to disenchant. In a few seconds it will be broken down into its components.

ArcheAge has 20 peaceful professions, thanks to which you can craft various equipment, weapons, items, equipment, improve equipment, create food and elixirs, steal and extract resources. Each profession is upgraded as you use it. For example, the lumberjack profession is upgraded by cutting down trees. Trade, crafting, etc. are pumped up in the same way.

Only two professions can be upgraded to the maximum level (50,000) (using a special item allows you to increase this number to 5). 3 professions can be upgraded to level 40,000, 4 - up to 30,000. The remaining professions can only be upgraded to 10,000.

High levels of crafting professions (Jewelcrafting, Blacksmithing, etc.) increase the chances of creating high quality items. A high level of mining professions (Lumberjack, Herbalism) increases the chances of obtaining rare resources. Increasing your engineering level is necessary to craft more advanced items.

Agriculture

To get some ingredients and resources in the game you will have to do farming. The initial quests in the game will introduce you to the basics of farming, during which you can receive a Small Scarecrow - a small personal plot of land.

Using agriculture, you can create trade packs to sell. But keep in mind that trading is a separate gaming profession, and selling packs brings experience specifically for this profession.

You can raise animals and plant plants anywhere, but only on public farms, near your house and on the big and small Scarecrow, they cannot be stolen.

All plants have their own growth rate, which is influenced by climate, which may differ in different locations. All plants have certain climatic preferences. You can learn about the climate of a location by looking at the location map.

Trade

One of the main means of earning money in the game is trading packs. Packs are created using special machines from various resources that are obtained through crafting or on farms. To trade, you will need a merchant certificate, which costs 50 silver coins.

Each location allows you to create 4 unique types of packs that can be turned in to NPCs in other locations. The further the path to the place where the pack is delivered, the more money you can earn.

Craft

A character of any level can create items, but to create high-quality items, a pumped-up profession level is required. Crafting is carried out on special machines, which can be found in all populated areas. Also, if you buy your own house, you can place the necessary machines in it.

An important ingredient for crafting is akhium. Characters will be able to wear crafted items from level 20.

Crafted weapons and items have a level gradation. For example, armor can be crafted for levels 20, 24, 30, 34, 44 and 50.

Crafting items occurs by upgrading items of a lower level. For example, to craft a level 24 item, you will need a crafted item of level 20. In addition to a leveled profession, to craft high-level items you will need ingredients that can only be obtained by having a high level of the corresponding profession, for example, alchemy.

Crafted items come in different qualities and can be assembled into sets (kits) that will give you additional bonuses. The chances of crafting a high-quality item depend on the level of upgrade of the profession. Items have the following quality levels:

Green - unusual item
Blue - rare item
Purple - unique item
Orange - epic item
Red - legendary item

Items starting with purple quality have a grade buff that increases the character’s parameters, depending on the number of items of the same quality worn. The increase in parameters depends on the quality level of the item and its type.

Job points

A common resource for all professions is “Job Points” (OP). They are spent on performing all production activities in the game - crafting items, farming, fishing, resource extraction. Premium subscription gives 3000 RP. Spent work points are restored over time.

Mounts

Mounts in ArcheAge are the most popular means of moving around the game world. By traveling on a mount and killing mobs with it, you can upgrade your mount. As they level up, mounts gain additional properties that allow them to attack enemies, slow down time, etc.

Mounts can be equipped with special equipment, which can be knocked out from mobs or purchased. If the mount dies, it can be resurrected, but it will only have 1 HP left and its movement speed will decrease by 30%. You can cure him in the stables for a small fee.

All characters can get their first mount at 5th level. For each race, the mounts are different: the Nuians have horses, the elves have deer, the Ferres have snow lions, and the Harnians have Harnian lions.

Gliders

Gliders are a special item that allows the character to glide through the air for some time. The glider is placed in a special equipment slot and is activated by quickly double-clicking the jump button.

The first glider can be obtained at level 10 for completing a certain quest.

Pets

Game pets are special animals that help their owners in battles against mobs and other players. Pets can be upgraded simultaneously with leveling up your character by killing mobs and completing quests. Gradually the pets will become stronger and learn new skills. For pets, as for mounts, there is special equipment. On

On the Western continent, the first pet can be obtained by completing a quest near Marianhold, and on the Eastern continent, the quest for a pet can be obtained in the Singing Land.

In ArcheAge you can kill both representatives of the enemy faction and your own faction. To attack a character from your faction, you need to activate the free attack mode. This mode can only be activated in PvP locations. This mode is not available at starting locations.

After the first attack by a player of his faction, blood will remain on the ground, which any player can collect. If the blood is collected, crime points will be recorded in the attacker's statistics. For every 50 crime points accumulated, after the death of the character, he will go to court and may be sentenced to prison (the trial is carried out by other players). All crime points accumulated are summarized in statistics as “Criminal Glory”. After gaining 3000 points of criminal fame, your character can become a Pirate. In this case, players of all factions and city guards will be able to attack him, but at the same time he will have access to a pirate island hidden from other players.

Having dealt the first damage to a player of his faction, the character will become flagged (the character’s health indicator will turn purple). Any other player can kill a flagged character with impunity. The flagging effect subsides over time.

It should be noted that crime points can also be obtained for theft (blood in this case also drops). Therefore, crime points can be accumulated by stealing resources from other people’s plantings located in some secluded corners of the game world.

When you kill characters from a hostile faction, you earn honor points. The accumulated points can be spent on purchasing powerful weapons, runes, mounts and special items for sieges.

Ships

Players can travel across the oceans of ArcheAge by ship. Ships allow you to reach remote islands and other continents. There are 6 types of ships in the game, starting with a boat, which can be obtained for completing a quest, and ending with the Black Pearl pirate ship, the blueprints of which will have to be collected piece by piece by farming mobs.

Most ship blueprints can be purchased on Trade Island. Before building a ship, it is necessary to lay down a shipyard. After building the shipyard, you can begin building the ship itself. To do this, you will need building packs of iron, wood, and fabric.

The ships in the game are controlled in an arcade manner, and to control the ship you need one of the crew members to be at the helm. Large warships are armed with cannons, which require archer players to fire.

Own house

The player can build his own house at any time, but this will require a large amount of resources and money, which will be difficult for beginners to collect.
You can place crafting machines and various furnishings in your houses at your discretion.

To build a house you will have to purchase a blueprint for a house on Trade Island and collect the required amount of resources. Houses come in different sizes and, accordingly, require different amounts of resources.

House plans are purchased for Delphic stars, which can be obtained by trading packs. The amount of resources required to build a particular house can be found out from the description in the drawings.

To build a house you will need building packs of stone, wood and iron.
Houses are installed in specially designated areas.

Guilds

Guilds in ArcheAge seriously expand the gaming experience. In addition to joint campaigns against raid bosses, guilds can fight for territories on the Northern Continent and create their own factions.

A guild can be created by gathering a group of 5 players and paying a special NPC 1 gold coin.

Pirates

In ArcheAge, pirates are a separate faction that can be attacked by representatives of any other factions. To become a pirate, you need to score 3,000 crime points for theft and attacks on members of your faction.
Pirates are based on a separate island, inaccessible to other players.

Making money in ArcheAge

One of the most common and profitable ways to make money in ArcheAge is by selling packs on a neighboring continent. However, this is a very unsafe activity, since you may be attacked by pirates and representatives of a hostile faction. Therefore, for successful intercontinental trade you need to have a well-developed character and an experienced team.

Singles and beginners can earn money in other ways:

Search for underwater treasures;
Collect rare ingredients for crafting in various locations;
Grow resources for sale on the farm or mine ore and stone;

For singles, the profession of Fisherman and the cultivation of rare resources for crafting (for example, the cultivation of sparkling wood) may become relevant. But it will be quite difficult for one player to independently organize a full cycle of crafting things.

Conclusion

We hope this beginner's guide answered most of your questions about the game. Our ArcheAge knowledge base contains more detailed guides and guides on various aspects of the game.

In the world of Archeage, there is constant trade and caravans with trade packs. Every self-respecting guild or family has their own routes through which they earn Delphic stars or gold. Not everyone is engaged exclusively in trade; many combine it with other crafts to achieve maximum results.

Most often, everything happens according to the following scenarios:

  1. The player noticed a number of characters with packs on their shoulders.
  2. He informs his guild (family, friends, etc.) about this.
  3. A large group of robbers gathers and attacks in order to become a little richer and have fun (in gaming slang<<фан>>, have fun, enjoy the fun gameplay).
  4. Everyone who needs money divides the spoils among themselves, if the outcome is successful, of course.
  5. The initiator of the movement remembers the time of the robbery and subsequently develops a pattern of regular successful attacks. This is due to the fact that traders always adhere to a schedule for cargo transportation.

Today you will learn about one of these schemes; it allows you to make good money on packs.

Preparation. 1 Stage and selection of skill branches

Let's start by choosing a group. The battle will take place in a very small and narrow area, where there will be a lot of people, which means we need as many AOE abilities as possible.

1) Branch Pursuit. It might interest us with its Petard (the Explosive Shot skill, which deals a huge amount of AoE damage and disarms everyone) and huge damage to one target. The fact is that players with the Magic and Inspiration tree may not have enough damage if there is a healer on the enemy team. A character with Pursuit is needed for backup.

2) Branch Magic. These are the main characters who will cause massive damage. This is the basis of the whole group. This branch needs to be combined with mysticism and inspiration to achieve maximum effect. In the picture, only the required skills are selected, and the yellow squares are those that are desirable, but for which there are often not enough points.

3) Branch Mysticism. Taken for powerful AOE skills, which perfectly complement the skills from the Sorcery branch. The branch has an excellent AOE stun and passive skills that increase the power of magical crit.

4) Branch Inspiration. She is hired for three skills. And only one character should take this branch; the rest should take mysticism. The green square highlights a skill that, after your crit, increases the chance and power of your next crit several times! Thus, the damage you can cause is simply enormous! The pink rectangle highlights 2 abilities, one of them prevents the entire group from getting stunned, and the other increases the damage of the entire group by ~20-25%. Since the damage increases are not compatible, it makes no sense to take two such branches.

Advice:If any of the listed branches is not pumped out to the maximum level, it is better to replace it with another one. The main thing is that you have at least one of the above branches.

Preparation. Stage 2 and installation of the vegetable garden in the right place.

Now we will talk about trade packs and ways to store them. You should know that if your cargo falls on the ground, any character can pick it up, but if you put it on the garden, only you can take it. From this we can draw the wrong conclusion that if you are killed with a load in the air and your pack falls on someone’s garden, you will not be able to pick it up. It's a bullshit. The pack cannot be lifted only if it was placed on the garden with one’s own hands ()!

Sometimes, if you die in the air, your trade pack may remain hanging there, this is a bug of the game. You can't take it from there later. In other cases, the packs simply fall to the ground.

Here is a diagram of the transportation of packs. Typically, people board the airship at point 1, then travel to point 2, where they transfer to a new airship and fly to the Falconry Plateau. Their entire path is shown by a thin blue line. People start transporting packs when there is a temporary truce in Hazira. At this moment, your group should arrange surveillance of the Jade Palace, or rather the landing site. If there are people there with packs, it's time for you to get ready!

In general, the whole point of this scheme is that people see the Temporary Truce and are not afraid of anything. They board the airship and calmly leave the computer for tea and cookies. But the whole point is that the airship also flies over the Ruins of Hariharalla for some time, but there is no peace there and you can calmly kill. Even if there is peace in the Rumbling Passes and Khazira, you will have 30 seconds to carry out a robbery over the Ruins of Hariharalla.

First, we must prepare and place a scarecrow in the Ruins of Hariharalla, in the Green Square area. Approximately, it is above it that we should kill the players, so that we can then go down on gliders and quickly leave the trade packs for the scarecrow. Returning and very angry victims may be able to kill you, but they certainly will not be able to return the loot!

It is advisable to place the second trading scarecrow in the Roaring Passes. It should be on a medium square in height. Right here:

If you rob according to this scheme on an ongoing basis, then a hostile detachment will probably be waiting for you next to your garden. If you notice one, it would make sense to shift the location of the robbery a little. The fact is that traders always head to the Falconry Plateau and make a transfer. You need to catch and kill them when they change seats and continue their journey on another airship. And already over your second scarecrow.

Implementation of a grand plan

Option 1. Loading at Hazira

1. The place where you should hide, you need to fly there unnoticed on a glider and wait for loading.

2. Landing place. There's a crowd of future victims hanging out here with trade packs.

3. Then we do this like this, when everyone is submerged, we fly unnoticed on gliders to the propellers of the airship.

4. Something like this:

There is such a platform between the main rotors of the airship. It may seem very advantageous in terms of shooting and dealing damage. But this is far from true! There are still quite a lot of glitches and bugs in the Archeage game, this is one of them! You won't be able to deal damage properly from there. It will write that you don’t see the goal, although a line can be drawn perfectly between you. So always get on board the airship and then deal damage.

On a note: Share a scarecrow for a guild or family and then join the whole group in one family or one guild. This action will save you time on dropping packs on the scarecrow. In the first case, you need to transfer them through one character, who may be dead and you will have to wait for him to throw the packs. At this time, your victims may have time to resurrect and try to pick up their packs! In this situation, time is everything!

Implementation of a grand plan.

Option 2. Loading at the Roaring Passes.

We begin our preparations here:

1. We climb onto the airship tower and climb onto this roof. This must be done BEFORE the airship arrives from Hazira, so as not to be detected.

2. We climbed in. The red oval marks the place where we need to fly; it is quite far away and the range on the glider may not be enough for us. That is why we additionally climbed onto the roof of the tower.

3. This is what our ambush looks like.

Now when we rob, no one will be able to guess where we come from or how we get on the airship. We will be called cheaters, because according to the animation we will not “jump”, but will seem to materialize out of nowhere on board the airship.

The last very cool feature

If you're cornered and have nowhere to run, right in combat territory can take you to a safe area. How? You ask. Very simple!

Here in this area:

This is what this place looks like on the mini-map:

And this is how it is in reality:

From this point onwards the safe area begins. Your enemies can overtake you, but they will not be able to kill you there. You can make fun of them and dance :). By the way, if you have the Stealth branch and the Rebound skill is taken in it, you can safely cross this mountain with a load on your shoulders. This way, you will be taken to the Falconry Plateau and will be able to turn in the pack. To use it correctly, turn around, come close to the slope and press Rebound. There is a high probability that you will overcome the obstacle.

Well then! Forward! For glorious exploits in the art of robbery and robbery. However, do not forget that good gear is very important for a robber, here we can help you not only with advice, but also with action. With us you can, and then for this gold, dress in the top gear at the auction in the game.
