To regular pancake dough, just add a spoonful of cocoa or a mixture of a piece of chocolate melted with butter, and you will get real chocolate dough! In addition, any chocolate will do: white; lactic; bitter; with fillers.

But to make chocolate pancakes, you don’t have to use a bar of chocolate; good cocoa will do. At the same time, the recipe is quite simple and quick. But this does not affect the result in any way! Chocolate pancakes made with cocoa powder are delicious! Try baking pancakes using this recipe and you definitely won’t regret it!

Easy

Ingredients

  • Milk – 200 ml;
  • Water – 200 ml;
  • Granulated sugar – 2 tbsp. l.;
  • Salt - a pinch;
  • Chicken egg - 2 pcs.;
  • Cocoa powder – 25-30 g;
  • Vegetable oil – 2 tbsp. l.;
  • Wheat flour – 250 g.

How to make chocolate pancakes with milk

Break the chicken egg into a bowl and beat it with a fork. You can use a mixer or blender, the main thing is that the mixture is homogeneous in structure.

Add granulated sugar and cocoa.

And if you have enough time and a bar of chocolate, then you can go the other way:

  1. take 60 g of chocolate (instead of sugar and cocoa);
  2. put it to heat in a water bath (place a small enamel bowl with chocolate pieces on a slightly larger saucepan with boiling water);
  3. add 70 g of butter (instead of vegetable oil in the dough);
  4. stir until the mass is homogeneous in consistency;
  5. then follow the recipe.

Add milk and pre-sifted flour. Mix well, again using the most convenient equipment: fork, whisk, mixer or blender.

Pour in warm water. Stir.

Add vegetable oil (you can use any oil here: flaxseed, olive or other). And again, do a little magic in the cup with a whisk.

Taking a special pancake frying pan, heat it over moderate heat. For the first time, you can lubricate it with a thin layer of vegetable oil. No more is needed, since the dough contains vegetable oil. Pour a portion of batter onto the surface of the hot frying pan. Flatten the dough by rocking the pan in a circular motion. This can be done with a special wooden stick with a handle mounted perpendicular to it.

Then wait for the dough to set on top. This is a sure sign that the lower part is already baked. Turn the pancake over and bake for another half a minute. Then remove the first finished pancake, and pour another portion of pancake batter into the frying pan. Bake the chocolate pancakes with milk until all the batter is used up.

One option for serving chocolate milk pancakes with cocoa is to wrap them in soft, sweetish curd cheese or grainy cottage cheese mixed with sour cream.

Or you can layer the pancakes with this filling and place one on top of the other - you get a whole pancake chocolate cake with curd filling! This is a very good way to highlight the contrast of chocolate and white.

You can also use it as a filling or decoration:

  • berry or fruit jam (jam, jam);
  • sweetened condensed milk.

Every family loves aromatic, delicious pancakes, and every housewife knows many ways to prepare them. And during Maslenitsa, mothers and grandmothers try to outdo themselves by creating airy, “lacey” delicacies with a wide variety of fillings.

Chocolate pancakes are quite popular among children and adults, and this section contains the 7 best recipes for this wonderful dessert.

Chocolate pancakes made with kefir are tender and airy, with a porous, “holey” structure.

To prepare them you will need to take the following products:

  • half a liter package of kefir;
  • 2 eggs;
  • a glass of boiled water or fresh milk;
  • 1.5-2 cups flour;
  • 40-55 g cocoa powder;
  • 3-4 tablespoons of sugar;
  • salt;
  • a little soda;
  • vegetable oil.

How to prepare the dish:

  1. In a large bowl, whisk the eggs, add kefir, add salt, soda and sugar, stir.
  2. Gradually add cocoa, without stopping whisking, so that the powder does not form lumps.
  3. Add flour in small portions, gradually bringing the dough to the required consistency, and then pour in a little lean fat and start frying.

Advice. To prevent the pancakes from turning out too oily, it is better not to pour fat into the pan, but to moisten a paper napkin and then evenly wipe the bottom of the pan with it.

Pancakes with milk and cocoa

Chocolate pancakes with cocoa can be prepared with fresh or sour milk.

They need the following products:

  • 2 glasses of dairy product;
  • egg;
  • 1.5-2 cups flour;
  • 40-60 g cocoa bean powder;
  • sugar and salt;
  • vegetable oil.

How to cook chocolate pancakes with milk and cocoa:

  1. Shake the egg with sugar, salt and cocoa, pour in vegetable oil.
  2. Dilute the resulting mass with half the milk and add flour.
  3. Gradually add milk, mix the dough until the lumps break up, and then pour in the rest and start frying the dish.

On a note. The dough for milk pancakes should be quite liquid and easily spread over the bottom of the pan. If the consistency turns out to be thicker, it is permissible to add a small portion of boiled water.

Simple recipe with chocolate

To prepare aromatic pancakes, you can use not cocoa powder, but natural dark chocolate.

You will need the following ingredients:

  • half a liter carton of milk;
  • 2 eggs;
  • 1.5-2 cups flour;
  • 55 g butter;
  • 90 g chocolate;
  • sugar and salt.

How to bake pancakes with natural chocolate:

  1. Mix flour with sugar and salt, and then gradually add ½ part of the dairy product, stirring thoroughly.
  2. Add eggs beaten with a blender or whisk to the mixture, mix until smooth.
  3. Melt the chocolate with butter, dilute with the remaining dairy product and pour into the mixture of flour and eggs.
  4. Gently stir the dough, let it sit for several hours, and then bake the pancakes in a hot frying pan.

Advice. To prepare dessert, you should take natural chocolate by weight. The quality of what is sold in tiles often leaves much to be desired. It happened that such a product did not melt under the influence of high temperatures, but melted and burned to the bottom.

Pancakes with chocolate spread

You can also use chocolate paste to make pancakes, but you just need to use the softest mixture.

During the cooking process you will need:

  • 550 ml milk or curdled milk;
  • egg;
  • 150-180 g chocolate paste;
  • a little sugar and salt;
  • a glass of flour.

How to cook pancakes:

  1. Mix the egg with sugar and salt, add the paste and a glass of milk, and then stir.
  2. When the chocolate mass has completely “dispersed”, add flour.
  3. Gradually diluting the dough with milk, knead it until the clots “disperse”, and then pour in the rest and bake portions.

On a note. The taste of pancakes will be more vibrant if they sit for at least half an hour before eating.

Pancake dough with added cottage cheese

Chocolate pancakes made with curd dough will turn out incredibly tasty and tender.

Prepare a dish from the ingredients:

  • 1.5-2 cups of kefir;
  • 2-3 eggs;
  • 140 g yogurt;
  • 1.5-2 cups flour;
  • chocolate or cocoa powder;
  • sugar and salt;
  • baking powder.

How to bake pancakes with yogurt:

  1. Beat the eggs in a bowl, add the yoghurt, sugar, baking powder and salt, then add the cocoa. If you use chocolate, you will need to melt it first.
  2. Stir the mixture until smooth, then add flour.
  3. Break up all the lumps and clots, dilute the mixture with kefir and start frying the pancakes.

This delicacy is served sprinkled with powdered sugar or garnished with berries. Sour cream, honey or jam are also suitable for dessert.

Chocolate pancakes for children

Pancakes are considered heavy food, and for children it is better to prepare this dish based on whey with a minimum amount of oil.

You will need the following components:

  • 250-280 ml of whey;
  • egg;
  • cocoa powder or chocolate;
  • 1.5-2 cups flour;
  • sugar, salt and soda.

How to cook “baby” pancakes:

  1. Beat the egg, add salt, cocoa, sugar and soda.
  2. Dilute the mixture with half the whey, add flour and stir until the lumps disappear.

And also, I made my chocolate pancakes with cottage cheese, but if you don’t have cottage cheese, then the pancakes can be served either way or with sweet sour cream sauce. In general, you can use your imagination here.

For greater clarity, I will present you with a photo recipe for chocolate pancakes. Working step by step, even a teenager can cope with the task.

As usual, I will first list the entire set of products from which our delicious dessert will be prepared.

Ingredients

  • Purified water – 300 ml
  • Chicken egg – 1 piece
  • Wheat flour – 3 heaped tablespoons
  • Cocoa powder – 2 tablespoons
  • Granulated sugar – 2 tablespoons
  • Vegetable oil – 2-3 tablespoons
  • Vanilla - on the tip of a knife
  • Salt - a pinch
  • Curd mass – 300-350 grams

From the kitchen utensils we will need: a deep container, a whisk for whipping (if not, a fork will do), a spatula for turning, a frying pan.

From the listed amount of ingredients I got 6 chocolate pancakes.

How to make chocolate pancakes

Break the egg into a deep container. Add granulated sugar, vanilla and a pinch of salt. If you have vanilla sugar, feel free to add the whole bag. The result is delicious chocolate pancakes with the smell of vanilla.

Using a whisk, vigorously whisk all ingredients.

Pour in about half the water and mix again. Add sifted wheat flour (all according to the recipe).

Add cocoa powder here. I used 2 tablespoons and my pancakes had a distinct chocolate flavor, but you can add one spoon if you want.

Add the rest of the water, vegetable oil and continue whisking. You should get a homogeneous, not thick mass for baking chocolate pancakes.

Place a frying pan on the fire, heat it up and pour in a little vegetable oil. Use a ladle to scoop out the pancake mixture (a little more than half the ladle) and pour it into the frying pan. Turn it in a circle so that the mass is evenly distributed over the entire surface.

Over medium heat, our chocolate pancakes bake very quickly, just have time to turn them over and remove them from the pan. For me they came out thin and tender.

The pancakes are ready and you can serve them. But since I have chocolate pancakes with cottage cheese, I’m making the final preparations. I spread a thin layer of the prepared curd mixture with raisins on the pancake and roll them into a tube.

For a more elegant presentation, I cut each chocolate pancake in half diagonally and place it on a plate.

An amazingly delicious dessert for tea - ready! Try it and enjoy!

Based on this recipe you can prepare.

Pancakes in the cuisines of Slavic peoples

Pancakes of different types, different consistencies, made from many types of flour with dessert, vegetable, fruit, and spicy fillings are known among almost all peoples of the world. This dish received special development in the cuisines of the Slavic peoples - mainly its specific yeast variety, and not a product made from unleavened dough.

By the way, it is interesting that when preparing any pancakes and pancakes they say “bake” and not “fry” - after all, before, pancakes were baked in a Russian oven, they did not need to be turned over.

Pancakes are one of the most ancient culinary dishes that do not require much expense. To prepare them, you need a minimum of flour with a maximum of liquid (water, milk), since you need to get a very liquid dough. In addition, the volume of dough increases significantly when using yeast, soda, and baking powder.

It is very convenient to bake pancakes from ready-made pancake flour of different compositions. The dough prepared from it can be easily made more rich and sweet by adding the necessary ingredients.

A well-baked pancake is the pride of the housewife; it requires certain knowledge, skill, and skills, because the proverb says: “The same flour, but a different handle.”

In pancake recipes, chocolate, bananas, oranges, cherries, strawberries, etc. are used very often.

Chocolate is added to dough, used to make glaze, cream, fondant or to decorate finished products. For example, you can sprinkle the pancake cake with chocolate chips.

To prepare chocolate chips, place the chocolate bar for 30–40 minutes in a warm room with an air temperature of approximately 30–35 °C, but not higher. After the chocolate melts a little and becomes plastic, you need to cut it with a knife into thin chips. Then the product should be sprinkled with shavings and powdered sugar.

To make chocolate mustaches, break a chocolate bar, place it in a porcelain bowl and melt it in a water bath. Then pour the chocolate into a confectionery syringe and use a thin tube nozzle to make various designs on white paper. If desired, you can first draw a drawing on paper with a pencil. Place the paper with the design in the refrigerator to harden, and then use a knife to carefully move the chocolate tendrils onto the finished product.

Double pancakes with cherries and chocolate

Ingredients:

  • 450 ml milk
  • 3 tbsp. l. Sahara
  • 200 g flour
  • 1 tsp. vanilla sugar
  • a small pinch of salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 tbsp. l. vegetable oil
  • fresh or canned cherries
  • 100 g chocolate
  • 2 tbsp. l. cream 33% fat
  • vanilla ice cream or ice cream

Preparation:

Step 1. Break the eggs in a bowl, mix them with sugar, vanilla sugar and salt. Mix well to dissolve the dry ingredients as much as possible. Pour a little flour into the egg mixture and add milk, stir. Gradually add the rest of the flour into the dough and mix. You should get a fairly thick mass. Again, add milk little by little and bring the dough to the consistency of sour cream, breaking up the lumps. Pour in vegetable oil and leave the dough to rest for about 10 minutes. The oil is added so that the pancakes are elastic and do not tear. And so that they don’t stick to the pan when baking.

Step 2. Bake pancakes. Do this as usual. You can use a special pancake maker with a non-stick coating. If it is not there, bake in any frying pan. Bake pancakes on both sides. Pour the batter into the pan in a not very thick layer, because the thinner the pancakes, the tastier they are. When baking, add oil only for the first pancake; the rest will not stick - the dough already contains oil. The pancakes are ready.

Step 3. Collect dessert. Put some cherries on the first pancake and sprinkle them with sugar. Place the second pancake on top. Melt the chocolate mixed with cream in a water bath. Pour chocolate and cream onto the second pancake. Assemble the pancakes into a triangle. Serve the pancakes hot with cherry topping and a scoop of ice cream. This is where the name of this dessert is justified - ice and fire.

Now look at the photos of chocolate pancakes with chocolate according to these recipes and try to prepare such a treat yourself:

In anticipation of Maslenitsa, I always can’t resist and start baking pancakes a week earlier. Some pancakes immediately ask to be repeated, since I bake them in small batches. On the one hand, it’s good when there are a lot of pancakes and you can safely eat them and not be afraid that someone won’t get enough, but on the other hand, baking the same ones all the time is boring! So I bake a little of everyone, so that there is variety. I haven’t baked chocolate pancakes for a long time, so without thinking twice I decided to bake them. How easy they are to prepare! No problems with turning over! As a result, from this portion I got 12 wonderful chocolate milk pancakes.

To prepare chocolate pancakes, prepare the necessary products from the list.

Break the eggs into a bowl and beat them with a whisk.

Sift flour and cocoa into a bowl.

Stir the dough thoroughly so that there are no lumps, add sugar and salt.

Then add the remaining milk and sunflower oil. Let me remind you that we use refined oil, without any flavoring additives. Mix the dough well again and leave for 20-25 minutes.

When the surface becomes matte, the pancake can be turned over and fried on the other side.

Place the finished pancakes on a plate.

You can wrap chocolate milk pancakes with curd filling or simply serve them with sour cream, jam or condensed milk. I have a whipped up sour cream and blackberry sauce.

Bon appetit!
