Skyforge complete equipment training. New Skyforge Era (guide for beginners-oldies)

The player's activities in Skyforge are determined by the invasion seasons. The season appoints the main enemy for 8 weeks, during which new opponents from this army appear on Aelion.

Invasions and equipment

Invasion Season is an eight-week activity during which players go through group adventures, collect equipment, increase combat superiority over the enemy, and learn new skills and passive abilities. The season consists of three stages starting on the first, third and fifth weeks of the invasion. At the beginning of each stage, new distortions appear and access to new difficulties of group and squad adventures.

Access to seasonal adventures is important not only because immortals need somewhere to stretch their bones. This is where you can get the best quality equipment.

Equipment in Skyforge has two main parameters - quality and generation. And if everything is simple with quality - the higher it is, the better the performance of the equipment, then it is worth dwelling on generations in more detail. With each new invasion season, new equipment appears. Now the first invasion of phytonides is active. Accordingly, the maximum available equipment belongs to the first generation. With the start of the next invasion, equipment of the second generation will become available, etc.

Uncommon - can be obtained in groups and links.
Rare - obtained in adventures of the "Group" type.

Epic - any equipment of the current season can be obtained in distortions and units. Legacy weapons are obtained from Incursion-type adventures.

Legendary - artifacts with an extremely low chance can fall out of any monster.

Each item of equipment is mined in a specific instance. The easiest way to find out where to get the right equipment is by looking at the invasion screen or by reading the description of a similar item in your bag.

But collecting high-quality equipment is not the goal of the immortals, but only a means of accomplishing the main task - defeating the invasion avatar. The avatar of any great god is a dangerous adversary. And if experienced immortals can defeat a training avatar on the first trip, then defeating the champion incarnation will cost a lot of effort.

It's not just invasions that aspiring gods worry about - there are plenty of other things to do! For example, the threat of mechanoids and demons attacking a strategically important area requires attention.

Antean wasteland

Getting here is easy. Access is open to all who have received the divine form. The Antean Wasteland is an unusual area. Here, the characteristics of the immortals are equalized, thanks to which the zone is always relevant for players of various levels of development.
The immortals will have to fight the mechanoids and demons, who have deployed their bases in the wasteland and dream of capturing the camps of the Wasteland guards. Here you will find many interesting tasks: complete the tasks of local residents, protect their bases, attack enemy camps and defeat the terrifying desert boss - Eternis.

Job types

Basic - classic tasks from NPCs who need the help of immortals. You can redo it any number of times. Reward: credits.

Public - team up with all the players in the area to complete a difficult task. Reward: credits.

Weekly - once a week for completing a public task of each type, you will receive reward chests. As part of the chest: credits, knowledge about the enemy and, possibly, stimulants.

Antean wasteland- a great place to spend time for those who want to destroy enemies even while standing in line for another adventure!

Polygon "Ingar"

Another way to diversify the rest from battles with invaders is the Ingar training ground. This is a ranked PvE arena that you will never be able to beat. Literally. Enemies do not end here, and the successes of the immortals are calculated solely in the number of waves passed. The more you pass, the higher you are in the ranking! There are two versions of the polygon: regular and pantheon. They differ in the principle of building teams, duration, rewards for completing and difficulty. But both of them have restrictions on the passage: both versions cannot be visited more than 3 times a week.

Once every two weeks, the best players receive great prizes. Although, even if we do not take into account the rating rewards, the rewards in Ingar are worthy. For every 5 trials, party members will receive credits and knowledge about the enemy. And in the regular version, you can also get equipment with winner's medals.

Another way to have fun is PvP and the battle of pantheons. But more on that next time.

skyforge is an unusual online game that is not easy to understand even for those who have been playing for many years. There is only one server in this game, and only one character can be on your account. With this character you have to go a long way - from immortal to god. We will help you understand the basic mechanics of the game so that you understand how best to upgrade your character so that he quickly becomes as strong as possible.

How to choose a starting class?

At the start, three classes are available to you: cryomancer, paladin and lightkeeper. You can switch between these classes at any time (except for combat), but first you need to choose one.

The choice of class depends on your preferences. If you like to play alone and PvE appeals to you, the Cryomancer is the best choice. This is a very strong fighter who attacks from a distance. For those who prefer to play in a group and want to instantly find a game, the Keeper of Light will do. And if in all games you prefer to run in PvP in the first place, choose a paladin.

What is prestige?

In Skyforge, characters do not have a level, but there is a general power indicator called prestige. Prestige is affected by three main indicators: atlas development, equipment and cult. All three are roughly equal in weight. You gain prestige points when you buy new atlas peaks, when you equip more powerful equipment, or when you upgrade your cult.

How sparks and atlas work

Sparks are a special currency that you need to upgrade your character. You get sparks of creation, destruction and balance for completing quests in open areas and dungeons. You will need these sparks up to a certain point in order to pump your class. After 2-3 hours of playing, you will reach a level where leveling up a class will be possible only from special class sparks. They drop from killed enemies.

The sparks you use in the atlas. There are three levels of the atlas: class level, character level, and god level. They open in sequence.

What is the best way to spend sparks?

To make your character as strong as possible, do not forget to distribute the received sparks. Until a certain point, you will not have a choice where to spend them. But after a few hours of playing, you will open the character atlas, and the choice will instantly become huge.

Please note that on the character atlas you can upgrade peaks from any of the starting classes. That is, if you started playing as a cryomancer, you don’t have to start from him: you can go to the top from a paladin or from a light keeper.

When pumping, remember the following simple rules. If you want to be able to put on more and more powerful equipment, be sure to invest in green tops (increase your dexterity). If you want to develop the cult as much as possible (and this is necessary for your character to become really strong) - buy all available blue peaks with a power indicator.

Is it better to invest in one class or several?

Each of these methods has its pros and cons. If you fully open the atlas of one class (buy all available peaks), then when playing with this class you will receive a currency that will allow you to upgrade any other class (if you have a premium). Pumping any class completely takes about 50 hours of active play. A fully upgraded class will give you access to all of its features and you will be able to fine-tune it by choosing the best of the available skills.

However, it makes sense to go through the chain in the atlas of each class, at least until you reach the point where class sparks are required for further pumping. This will greatly increase your chances of successfully completing the dungeons. Sometimes you will be much more comfortable playing in parties by taking a different class. For example, if you get to the boss and realize that you can't kill him without a tank. Even a minimal leveling is enough for you to be able to “jump” into a paladin and help the group.

How to get to other classes faster?

There are currently 13 classes in the game. Any of them can be reached through the character atlas. Examine it and find the top of the class you are interested in. After that, use the "lay route" option. It will calculate you the fastest way to the desired class. However, this path is unlikely to be optimal in terms of character strength. Try not to miss peaks with strong talents and take more peaks with "dexterity" and "greatness" indicators.

You can evaluate any of the classes almost immediately after the start of the game in the training room (Science Center). In addition, you can play adventures with the suggested classes - usually they give more rewards for this. Also on the mission selection globe, it is possible to train with different classes, receiving rewards for this.

I don't get sparks, what should I do?

There are limits in the game: you cannot endlessly receive sparks for pumping. Limits are updated once a week, on Wednesday. If you have selected all the sparks before Wednesday, you will receive a different currency for completing the dungeons.

The most valuable of the other currencies are the ones you need to level up your followers: provisions, ammunition, and scraps of manuscripts. These currencies have no limit, and you need a lot of them. Also, be sure to do missions for which they give a relic for the construction of a temple or chapel. Such missions are very rare and appear only once every two days. Do missions on the thread only according to the residual principle.

Where to look for the best equipment and how to upgrade it?

As a rule, you will not have any problems with dressing up the character. Consistently passing the story and dungeons by level, you will find the best equipment. Old and unnecessary equipment should be immediately disassembled. It makes amplifiers. You will need these amplifiers to improve the parameters of weapons, additional weapons and rings. The ideal upgrade order is weapons first, then rings, then secondary weapons.

From time to time you will drop weapons that are suitable for other classes. It is better not to disassemble it, but to change it. This way you will keep your other classes of your character in a more or less adequate state (in case you need to urgently switch).

Your character also has additional equipment slots - amulets and trophies. They do not open from the beginning of the game (the first - after about 10 hours) and allow you to fine-tune your character's parameters. You will also receive them for killing monsters.

How to properly pump a cult

The cult does not appear from the very beginning of the game, and most players perceive it as just fun entertainment - but it is a full-fledged part of the game, giving a third of the character's power. Therefore, if your goal is to gain maximum prestige, then you should never forget about the cult.

Every day you will have new followers who want to join your cult. Take them all. Leave the best ones (for starters, the best ones - those in the parameters of which there is an indicator “bring even more followers”). Expel the rest as missionaries.

Whenever you log into the game, the first thing to look at is the cult tab and send your followers on missions. For leveling the cult and followers, the most important missions are those for which you get followers. Complete missions for gifts last.

Build temples and chapels as soon as possible. Do not build many chapels near one temple at the very beginning of the game. It is better to have three temples and one chapel for each, than one temple with three chapels. A temple of a higher level without a chapel is also bad.

Appoint the strongest of your followers as abbots. They transfer some of their powers to you. The more pumped and strong followers will be priors, the stronger your hero will be. Pump followers as soon as the opportunity arises.

What gives the pantheon?

The pantheon does not directly affect the strength of the character. The biggest plus of the pantheon, like the guilds in any online game, is that it allows you to collect a good permanent party (in Skyforge they are called "consts") to go through difficult dungeons.

What gives a premium?

A premium account costs about 450 rubles (depending on the period for which it is purchased). The main bonus of the premium is that leveling is twice as fast (the number of all sparks received is doubled), twice as many credits are given, plus the universal currency for leveling all classes drops. Also, owners of premium accounts can use teleports in open areas for free.

If you do not have extra money, but want to have a premium subscription, you can buy it for local currency (credits). In principle, premium is very useful for comfortable and fast leveling, but it does not provide any “combat” advantage. In the game store for "premium" money (argents), only costumes and other decorations are sold.

Today we invite you to get acquainted with the updated character development system, which you will be able to evaluate very soon!

Players no longer have to figure out the intricacies of how different stats work and think about which ones will definitely be useful for their preferred class. You will not be able to make a mistake by pumping the “wrong” peaks in the atlas, you will not have to catch up with players who immediately took a more efficient path. Symbols and passive bonuses are combined into several groups according to the type of action, which will make the choice more convenient. By unlocking new buildings on the regional map, completing quests and completing adventures, the character becomes stronger, and the bonuses received are useful no matter what class you choose and what style of play you prefer.

We invite you to familiarize yourself with all the sources of character power and learn how to develop them correctly!

Sources of character power in New Age.

  • All previous stats obtained from atlases will be replaced with power, which now affects both damage and health. The replacement will be made in proportion to how much the atlas of development was studied before the update. You can also get an increase to the “Power” characteristic by improving the cathedral and the tower of knowledge.
  • All kinds of sparks that were previously required to study atlases will disappear. They will be replaced with other resources or converted into characteristics.
  • Unspent sparks of insight will bring you as much progress as they would give if they were invested in an atlas.
  • Sparks of development remaining on the character's account will be converted into credits at the rate of "10 credits for 1 spark".
  • The current progress of the development of vectors will be transferred to the corresponding rank in the tower of knowledge, taking into account the benefits of special and bright peaks, if the character had them. Unused Ethereal Cores will be compensated with credits.
  • Current progress in the Divine Atlas and Specialization Atlases will be transferred to the corresponding level of development in the Temple of Deeds. All unused sparks of divinity will be compensated with credits.
  • Current progress in equipment enhancements will be transferred to the corresponding rank in the cathedral, taking into account the benefits of bionic and cybernetic amplifiers, if the character had them.
  • The current progress in the Atlas of Invasions and the trophies of the armies that the character owns will be transferred to the corresponding level of research progress in Flavius' laboratory.
  • Spark Replicators will be replaced with Stimpacks, which are now used to quickly complete various tasks. With their help, you can quickly complete tasks in the bastion, speed up the execution of decrees of the rulers and instantly complete the missions of adepts during promotions. All unspent replicators will be recalculated: both those that are already on the character's account and those that are still in capsules.

Classes

How to get a class?

Now to to get a new class, you need to get to his temple on the region map. Completing quests in Link adventures will unlock nearby buildings that lead to group adventures or open locations, as well as class temples. For example, the Temple of Fury will allow you to master the Berserker class, and the Temple of Harmony will allow you to master the Monk class.

Class Development

The newly unlocked class comes with a small number of predefined starting skills that you can use to go into battle. To get new abilities, complete quests given in the class temple. As a rule, they will be associated with killing opponents with this particular class. At the same time, the character has an active task from only one class temple, but immediately after completing it, you can take a new one - in the same temple or in any available one. Developing the temple, you will discover new talents and skills. First - the basic ones, they will be active with any selected set, and the very last skill is the ultimate one.

PvE and PvP ability branches

A little later, the development of the class will be divided into two "branches". One contains skills and talents for battles with monsters and bosses, and the second - with other players. By completing the tasks given out in the temple, you will gradually unlock new abilities in one or another branch. The choice in which order to study them (first completely one and only then the other or in parallel) is up to you. Switching between PvP and PvE skill sets is automatic: PvP is active in arenas and duels, and PvE is active in all other situations.

The number of abilities in the PvE and PvP branches may be the same or slightly different depending on the specific class.

Now the variability in the development of the character is carried out through the choice of characters, which you can read about below, and during the leveling of the class, the main goal is to fully study all its branches. The number of active and passive abilities has been reduced. Some of them have completely disappeared, some previously associated talents and skills have become one. Some talents are unlocked independently of skills, representing separate steps in class development. In addition, the effects, duration, and power of some of the previous abilities have been changed.

I learned a class before the update, what will happen to my character?

If you managed to open the class before the update, it will be available to you immediately. If you get to the ultimate skill, you will get the entire core set of abilities ending with that skill, but the PvP and PvE skill trees will need to be relearned. If a class is fully researched before the update, it will be available to you with all unlocked abilities.

Glyphs given out for fully learning a class have disappeared.

Bastions

In the New Era update, you won't have to choose which stat to learn and which adventure to go on in order to develop as efficiently as possible. The new way to improve character performance is much simpler and more interesting.

There is a bastion on the map of each region. You can get there by first having been in all the adventures of the "Link" type in this region. Special tasks are available in this building. Complete them to develop the bastion and increase the Power characteristic, which affects damage and health indicators. In addition, here you will open symbols and passive bonuses - different for each bastion. They are issued upon reaching certain levels of the building.

Completing Bastion Quests

Tasks can be obtained by pressing a special button in the interface, once a day for credits. The ability to take on new tasks accumulates every day for a week, even if you have not logged into the game. If you do not use the issue of tasks for more than seven days, the opportunity to receive them ceases to accumulate until you use the available supply.

With one press of the button, four tasks are issued. All of them are completed only in the region to which the bastion belongs, and are only visible in the interface and in the adventures of the region where they can be completed. If the player had unfulfilled old assignments when issuing tasks, they will be canceled.

Thus, a person who plays every day can complete four adventures per day that increase power. And those who have not logged in all week and accumulated seven units of currency will have the opportunity to activate the button seven times and complete 28 tasks at once. If you have several bastions open, then you can use the button for issuing tasks both in one region, and in several of your choice.

Any task can be completed automatically by spending one stimulant. They can be obtained during promotions, for the execution of decrees of the rulers, or purchased for Argents on the marketplace.

Symbols

By completing tasks and improving each of the eight bastions, you will sequentially study four symbols in each. Having developed the character to the maximum and having opened all possible symbols, at the same time you will be able to use 8 of them, while you can choose only one from each bastion. You can combine symbols into sets and change them at any time as you wish.

Below is a table with all 32 characters. Each column is a region. You will find a detailed description of the characters in the game, and by expanding the spoiler, you can find out general information about each of the groups.

Character types

First bastion. Symbols that affect the drop of special spheres from killed enemies. Using such a bonus, you will receive for a while, for example, a skill that deals damage, or an increase in the number of dashes.

Second bastion. Glyphs that add additional effects to dashes. Having studied them, the character will be able to leave a mine at the starting point of the dash, which, when exploded, deals damage to nearby enemies. Another effect for one of the four symbols of the group is a shield for your character and the removal of slowing effects from it.

Third bastion. Symbols that affect defense in battle. They give a temporary shield, invulnerability, or resurrect the character for a short time in case of death.

Fourth bastion. Symbols of special skills that are activated during outgoing attacks or, conversely, during incoming attacks on your character. Such skills can deal additional damage, knock down an enemy, or place a shield on you that reflects or absorbs some of the damage.

Fifth bastion. Symbols - Companion skills. They will give the companion additional damage, as well as the ability to apply buffs to the owner or his allies, such as a shield or increased outgoing damage.

Sixth bastion. Glyphs that give a chance for additional damage when equipped with a special weapon (affects both picked up weapons and weapons obtained using symbols of the eighth bastion). In addition, whether you have such a weapon or not, these symbols will give additional damage the first time you attack an enemy within a certain period of time, or deal damage to enemies attacking or trying to take control of your character.

Seventh bastion: Glyphs that add an additional effect to the damage of the sixth bastion symbols. This can be immobilization of the enemy, imposing continuous damage on him or a "mark" that increases all incoming damage to the target, as well as spreading damage to several opponents.

Eighth bastion: Glyphs that, after a character deals a certain amount of damage in an adventure or in the arena, give him a special weapon. According to legend, it belonged to one of the elder gods and has certain effects. Such weapons can give increased damage to a single target or even multiple targets, increase defense, apply effects, or turn your skills into ranged ones.

Passive bonuses

In each bastion, in addition to symbols, passive bonuses will be available for study, which are permanent and do not require special conditions for their activation, except for those that are indicated directly in the description. New bonuses replace some of the previous symbols from the development atlas. Their study will take place linearly, as the building improves, that is, in a certain order. Each bastion has 6 cells, the opening of which either gives a new unique bonus or increases the rank of the one you already have - similar to how you previously received symbols and their ranks. In total, 20 unique bonuses can be opened.

Half of the bastions contain offensive bonuses, and the other half contain defensive ones. Only one type of bonuses can be present in one bastion. Some affect the chance and strength of critical damage, increase the companion's attack and increase the character's own damage. Others will help you survive in combat: here you will find additional dashes or faster recovery of them, an increase in running speed, the amount of health and the effectiveness of healing spheres, incoming damage reduction and protection from control skills. You will find a more detailed description of all passive bonuses in the game.

After opening all eight bastions, you can choose which one to develop in the first place, and, accordingly, decide for yourself which symbols and passive bonuses will become available to you first.

Equipment

Equipment will no longer directly affect character stats. Now she is responsible for a variety of additional bonuses that strengthen the character and increase its effectiveness. As a result, most of the equipment is equally relevant for all classes. We will talk about this in more detail in a separate article.

Upgrading equipment will directly affect the power of the character himself, and not the items he uses. The role of equipment amplifiers is now played by the cathedral. Its level can be increased by doing the interior and exterior decoration of the building. By upgrading the cathedral, you increase the power of the character, and with it, the damage and the number of health points increase.

The level of the Cathedral of players who have already upgraded their equipment amplifiers will be calculated based on the number of credits and enhancement stones that were spent on leveling all three amplifiers before the update. Special equipment boosters will be moved to the trophy hall and additionally compensated with winner's medals depending on their own value.

Other sources of power

In addition, the strength of the character is significantly affected by buildings located in the capital of Aelion.

tower of knowledge

Collecting data about the enemy everywhere and spending it on updating the database, the character receives an increase in power. The tower has several base ranks and 8 threshold ranks, obtaining them significantly increases power. Such improvements can be made for credits.

Flavius Laboratory

The laboratory interface contains several tabs, each of which is dedicated to the study of one of the six armies. Here you will see a chain of bonuses, consisting of 30 cells, which open sequentially one after another. Opening the bonus will require the cost of a special resource called "Army Samples" and the completion of several special tasks.

How to get army samples?

With the start of a new invasion, samples of the active army in equal numbers are automatically credited to all characters on the server at a certain time. The player will be able to see or spend them only after receiving the divine form, when he will have access to the capital. Army samples are accumulated even if the user does not log into the game. You cannot purchase this resource on the marketplace or earn it by completing tasks. The samples accumulated by the end of the invasion will be enough to study all possible army bonuses.

Laboratory assignments

After investing research points, several tasks will appear in the laboratory.

Tasks are divided into 2 types. The first is Special Invasion Adventures. The second is the destruction of the monsters of the enemy army, regardless of their habitat. When the invasion ends, only the second type of quests are available to the character, which he can continue to complete in order to open bonus slots, as long as he has enough army samples.

The list of tasks is visible in the laboratory interface. If a character discovered a divine form after the invasion of a certain army was repulsed, he will still receive the necessary samples to study its bonuses and will be able to study them after completing the tasks.

What bonuses can be obtained in the laboratory?

The army of mechanoids is given as an example, the bonuses of any army are similar in effect.

Vulnerability of mechanoids. Increased outgoing damage to all monsters in this army, except for bosses. The maximum rank (the number of cells in the chain of bonuses to study) is 10.

Protection from mechanoids. Reduces incoming damage received from this army. The maximum rank is 5.

Mechanoid Leaders. Increased outgoing damage against army bosses. Additionally deals increased damage against special distortion bosses and army avatar. The maximum rank is 4.

Assimilation. Increases the character's outgoing damage against any enemies. The maximum rank is 5.

Mechanoid Destroyer. Increased damage to all monsters in this army. The maximum rank is 6.

The cells of the first four bonuses alternate with each other. The "Mechanoid Destroyer" bonus occupies the last 6 cells in the chain, following each other.

This material is dedicated to content that is under development. By the time the update is installed on the production server, there may be minor changes.

In future content, we will talk about the Temple of Deeds, a place where immortals learn divine skills and choose specializations.

About this game earlier, but for those who forgot - we will repeat! In Skyforge, you become the immortal defender of the planet Elion, which is overwhelmed by hordes of enemy armies, hoping to enslave the locals. Why they need it will tell you during the game, and we will pay attention to how to resist these invaders! Your first and main task is to become a god. To do this is quite simple: you need to go through the game campaign, along the way opening up access to new instances, defeating hordes of enemies and thus increasing your own power! By the way, Skyforge has 11 classes (with 3 more coming soon!), and you can switch between them at any time.

The general launch of Skyforge is scheduled for April 11, but those who wish can get into the game now by purchasing one of three early access packs. In addition to the ability to start playing, they include in-game currencies, a premium subscription, as well as instant access to classes that would otherwise not open soon.

Questions and answers

Can I transfer my character from PC to PS4 version of the game?
No, the console version will have a separate server where the game will start from the very first invasion season!

Will there be a separate server for the Russian speaking audience?
No, the PS4 server will be the same for the entire European region.

Will I need an active PlayStation Plus subscription to play Skyforge after the general launch (April 11)?
No, everyone can enter the game without restrictions, and special bonuses are waiting for PlayStation Plus subscribers!

If you're one of the lucky ones who decided to play Skyforge before the others, here are some tips on how to get the hang of it as quickly as possible!

At first glance, this is rather prosaic advice, nothing out of the ordinary. But the better you understand what and how it works, the faster you will learn to play well. Go through the training tasks thoughtfully, pay attention to the messages of the story characters and the prompts on the side of the screen.

By the way, if you are going to play with friends, keep in mind that the opportunity to join a group opens only after completing the basic training (completing the Dunkit Island adventure).

The Campaign Quests will take you on solo adventures like Link, but don't let your journey through Aelyon be limited to them. On the map of each of the provinces there is one or more areas - huge locations, where the immortal is waiting for a lot of tasks and, of course, rewards. Completing all the quests in each such zone will provide you with an impressive income! And it's very beautiful there!

After completing the first adventures, you will have access to the “Capital” screen, on which, among other things, there are 2 most important buildings - the cathedral and the tower of knowledge. Both of these buildings provide the immortal with power. The better they are developed, the stronger your character.

The power gained from the cathedral is provided by followers. To attract more followers, you will have to spend credits (in-game currency) to decorate the cathedral. This building will become available once you defeat the monsters on Okki Island.

Knowledge Tower is a research center where you donate the second important game currency - knowledge about the enemy. Each contribution increases the power of the character, because now he has more information on how to deal with enemies. This building becomes available after completing Factory 501.

Buy upgrades as soon as you have enough funds, because the more power you have, the better equipment can fall from monsters. And good equipment means high prestige!

No matter how effective the cathedral and the tower of knowledge are, the most favorite source of development for the immortals is the bastions. Do you want to know why? Firstly, there are a lot of them, and secondly, in addition to power, you can get a lot of additional features here. Passive talents will strengthen the character, and active symbols will give new abilities. For example, the very first symbol of the Satria Bastion significantly affects the combat system. Here is his description:

Targets you attack have a 50% chance to spawn Emblems of Pain. Picking them up will grant you a charge of Emblem of Pain, allowing you to use an ability that deals high damage to an enemy.

But if the development of previous buildings requires in-game currencies, then with the bastions, not everything is so simple! Once a day, you will receive a "Request for Help", which can be spent by taking tasks in one of the bastions. Complete tasks and you will not only increase the power of the character, but also increase the progress of obtaining the next symbol or passive talent.

It's important to keep in mind that the "requests for help" required to upgrade the bastions do not accumulate more than 7 pieces, so be sure to spend them all at least once a week!

In addition to the beautiful world in Skyforge, there are extremely interesting story stories. Their passage does not depend on the main game. You can jump into a story right after learning it, or you can develop to extraordinary heights without learning anything about it. The stories tell what is happening on the planet, what the elder gods really are and why you are the main hope of Aelyon.

We hope these tips will be useful to beginner immortals on the path to divinity. It won't be long before the first of you complete the campaign and become lesser gods to dedicate yourselves to fighting the incursions. Great deeds and battles await them... But we'll talk about that next time! In the meantime - good luck in the expanses of Aelion!

We invite you to find out how the character's equipment will change in the New Era. Despite the fact that the interface has not undergone major changes, the interaction mechanics will be simplified. The main idea of the new approach to equipment was the slogan "More gameplay, less additional resources and manipulations in the bag!".

How will this be achieved? Let's figure it out. So, firstly, the number of items of equipment will decrease. The new equipment will consist of 10 main items instead of 16. It will include: 1 slot for weapons, 1 for artifact, 4 for jewelry, and 4 for power stones. In addition, there will be cells for used items in it. Secondly, the equipment will no longer directly affect the characteristics of the character, it will be responsible for a variety of additional effects that strengthen the character and increase its effectiveness. As a result, most of the equipment is equally relevant for all classes.

Whether you can use an item or not is determined by your power.

Weapon

The only item of equipment dependent on the chosen class will be the character's weapon. Jewelry and artifact - in the vast majority of cases, they are equally useful for everyone. The situation in which, upon obtaining a new class, you have to play a character that does not have any additional weapons or suitable amulets, and therefore is significantly less effective, is now eliminated. The character's weapons have three main varieties, unique to each of the classes.

Bonuses on weapons

Jewels and Stones of Power

Instead of amulets and rings, the character will have jewels (in 4 slots) and power stones (in 4 slots), and each slot will give 1 special effect. Characters will not be able to use the same jewels or stones.

Jewels and Stones of Power are great for any class and do not need to be replaced when switching roles. Each item will give 2 out of 4 possible bonuses: increased damage, health, critical and impulse damage. The number of bonuses received by the character depends on their quality and rarity.

Please note that equipment-specific bonuses no longer provide a fixed bonus to certain stats. Two seemingly identical jewels can give a different multiplier or bonus percentage within certain limits.

Artifact

The Artifact is one of many new additions to the game since the update. This is a unique item that replaces a secondary weapon. Thanks to it, you can significantly increase the effectiveness of the character: for example, increase the damage taken by the enemy if his health indicator fell below 30%, or increase the damage to the target if you yourself did not receive damage.

Equipment Loot

All the necessary equipment can be obtained as trophies for defeating monsters. You will get the highest quality equipment in raid battles and in distortions. As the character's power grows, you will be able to wear high-generation equipment that provides more tangible bonuses.

The maximum effectiveness of equipment will be limited by the current invasion season. Each season will have its own equipment generation. For example, the current equipment of the strongest characters is now the 4th generation, and after the attack of the Oceanids in the New Era, the items from the 5th will become the best.

In all adventures you will find two levels of difficulty:

  • A fixed difficulty adventure that matches the current invasion season. Here you can get rare and epic equipment of the latest generation.
  • An adventure with character-adjustable difficulty, where you can only get equipment from past generations.

By killing bosses in adventures, you can get equipment items, but the number of such kills is limited. Every day, the character gets one opportunity to get equipment from the boss, but such opportunities cannot accumulate more than 5. The restriction applies to each boss individually. For example, if you received equipment from Lorro the Cold today, then this will not prevent you from getting one more item by defeating Alcyone and Melia. Thus, you can receive one item from the boss every day, or accumulate attempts and complete the adventure 5 times in a row at once.

Equipment Upgrade

The equipment upgrade system has undergone a significant overhaul. Equipment boosters, which previously affected the stats that the character received from specific items, are a thing of the past. Their progress is converted into the development level of the cathedral, a special building that you will find in the interface of the capital.

The main difference of the new system is that now the bonus directly affects the main characteristic - the power of your character, and not on the items he uses.

The level of the cathedral can be increased by equipping the interior and exterior decoration of the building for credits.

Special equipment boosters will disappear from the game, but all owners of such effects will receive an upgrade for the cathedral, which increases the increase in the character’s power.

Character equipment no longer has trophy slots. They will disappear from the game. Their role after the update will be performed by the Flavius laboratory, which you will find in the interface of the capital.

What will happen to the equipment and bag of the characters after the update?

  • Weapon. Each character will receive at their disposal one weapon item for each of the open classes if the character has at least one class weapon in their hands or bag before the update. Everyone will get the best possible options. For example, if a weapon of epic rarity was in the bag, which was not suitable in terms of dexterity, then after the upgrade this weapon will be in the hands of the character. Lower quality weapons will disappear from the bag and be compensated with credits.
  • Rings and amulets. The transfer of jewelry will occur in a similar way. The best amulets and rings of the highest rarity in terms of characteristics are converted into new jewels, and the rest of the rings and amulets will be compensated with credits.
  • Artifacts. Each player will receive a set of five artifacts. Their rarity and quality will depend on the rarity and quality of the secondary weapon.
  • Legendary rings and vibes. Instead of one of the legendary rings, the player will receive as many as three legendary artifacts. The remaining rings and vibes will be converted into credits.
  • Trophies. The quantity and quality of trophies in the bag will affect the level of research in Flavius' laboratory.
  • The Tactical Sense Booster will be removed from the game. He will be compensated with credits depending on his level.
  • Tactical Sense Replicators, in turn, will be compensated with Victor's Medals.
  • Credits will also compensate for backpacks with random items obtained in adventures.

Where to go for the best equipment after the update?

To get up-to-date equipment after installing the "New Era", you should go to the interface of the current invasion. There will be a list of adventures where you can get the best quality equipment at the moment. Look there more often!

This material is dedicated to content that is under development. By the time the update is installed on the production server, there may be minor changes.

The redesigned equipment system will allow you to focus on the gameplay without being distracted by changing equipment. In addition, it will make switching classes even easier and more convenient, not dependent on rings and amulets, and the characters will be equally effective against any invading army!
