HEALING PROPERTIES OF APPLE VINEGAR

Apple cider vinegar is a wonderful natural remedy that can give health. In folk medicine, apple cider vinegar is widely used primarily as an anti-inflammatory, antifungal, and antiseptic agent. I will give recommendations of traditional medicine for the prevention and treatment of diseases that can be prevented and overcome by such an ancient folk remedy as apple cider vinegar. Apple cider vinegar is used in recipes - 9%. If vinegar is 3%, then increase the dosage by 3 times. Daily use 2 tsp. vinegar in 1 cup of water 2-3 times a day works great for excessive bleeding during the menstrual cycle, bleeding hemorrhoids, nosebleeds, bleeding wounds. Daily use 2-3 tsp. vinegar in a glass of water before meals significantly improves digestion and significantly lowers blood pressure. This use of vinegar treats gastritis and relieves toxicosis during pregnancy. Apple cider vinegar is considered a fairly effective remedy for stretch marks and cellulite. To do this, use a water-vinegar mixture (30 ml of apple cider vinegar per glass of water). The resulting solution massages the areas of cellulite and stretch marks. Such rubbing gives the skin smoothness and freshness. Daily intake of 1 glass of water with 2 tsp. vinegar, honey and 1 drop of iodine is effective for blood purification, dizziness, in order to prevent many diseases, and also as a general tonic.

For chronic fatigue . Mix 3 tsp. apple cider vinegar with a cup of honey. Take 2 tsp before bed. mixtures. If that's not enough, double the dose.

Ringworm. Apply undiluted apple cider vinegar to the affected area of ​​the skin. To enhance the effect, you need to add another strong remedy to apple cider vinegar - garlic. Do this during the day 4-6 times. In addition, it is good to do evening dousing of the whole body with acidified water in a ratio of 1: 5 (dilute one part of vinegar with five parts of water). It is also good to take baths with the same acidified water.

Skin itching. Apple cider vinegar has a pronounced analgesic and antipruritic effect. It is enough to apply a napkin moistened with apple cider vinegar to the affected area, and the discomfort will soon disappear.

Removal of corns and corns . Pour 3-4 chopped garlic cloves with a glass of apple cider vinegar, leave for two weeks in a dark place and make compresses on sore spots daily from this mixture.

Nail fungus treatment . Prepare a mixture of iodine with apple cider vinegar in a ratio of 1: 1. Lubricate the affected nails with this mixture twice a day. The course of treatment is long, at least six months.

Burns. If the burn is small and does not require serious medical attention, then it can be cured at home. A cloth moistened with undiluted apple cider vinegar should be applied to the burn as soon as possible. This immediately soothes the pain and there is no scarring left afterwards.

Increased sweating. After a shower, wipe the armpits and feet with a solution of apple cider vinegar (1.5-2 tablespoons per 0.5 liters of water).

Inflammation of the trigeminal nerve. Drink every hour 1 glass of water with 1 tsp. vinegar in small sips.

Headache. If it is chronic, then you need to take 2 tsp. vinegar at every meal, you can with honey.

Increased body temperature. We have known about vinegar rubdowns as an antipyretic since childhood. But many of us miss the fact that it is apple cider vinegar that is recommended for this purpose: unlike table vinegar, the main active ingredient of which is acetic acid, it does not dry the skin and rarely causes allergies, which is especially important if you are treating children.

Angina . With sore throat, gargling with apple cider vinegar helps. It is necessary to add 1 tsp to a glass of water. apple cider vinegar. It is recommended to gargle with this solution every hour. As the pain in the throat decreases, you can increase the interval between gargles up to 2 hours.

Cough. One of the effective means is the following: mix half a glass of honey, 1 tsp. aloe juice and 3 tbsp. l. apple cider vinegar. Take three to four times a day for 2 tsp. before eating. And one more recipe: 6 tbsp. l. apple cider vinegar to a glass of honey. Morning and evening, take 1 tbsp. l. mixtures. In both cases, the cough passes quite quickly.

Sinusitis. This disease usually causes an alkaline urine reaction. It can be changed to sour and reduce pain if you drink one glass of water with the addition of 1 tsp seven times every hour. apple cider vinegar.

Joint disease (arthritis, arthrosis, gout). Four times a day, drink a glass of water with 1 tsp. apple cider vinegar, and after two weeks the pain in the small joints of the legs and arms will noticeably decrease. Ointment for joints. Beat 1 egg yolk, 1 teaspoon of turpentine and 1 tbsp. a spoonful of apple cider vinegar. Mix everything thoroughly and store in the refrigerator for no more than a day. Rub the ointment into the affected joint, gently massaging. The procedure can be carried out as needed, several times a day. Better to do it at night.

Phlebeurysm. In the morning and at night, rub apple cider vinegar on the area of ​​varicose veins. Along with rubbing twice a day, you need to drink a glass of water, in which 2 tsp are dissolved. apple cider vinegar.

Mild indigestion. In cases of mild indigestion, self-medication will help, it is best to take apple cider vinegar, since its spectrum of action is quite wide. It protects against infections, destroys putrefactive bacteria in the intestines, promotes the formation of a healthy intestinal flora, helps the liver neutralize toxic substances, and also stimulates intestinal motility. In these cases, drinking plenty of water, acidified with apple cider vinegar, helps well: take 1 tsp for a glass of boiled water. apple cider vinegar, preferably without the addition of honey. Usually drink from 6 to 8 glasses per day.

An old recipe for the treatment of constipation. With constipation, the action of apple cider vinegar is based on stimulating the process of digestion and reducing the intoxication of the body due to the formed toxins. Pour 2 cups of water into a saucepan, put 2 tbsp. tablespoons of flax seeds and boil over low heat for 15 minutes. Then strain the broth and add 1 teaspoon of apple cider vinegar to it, stir. Take 1 glass of liquid in the evening 1-2 hours before bedtime. Drink slowly, in small sips. The next morning, on an empty stomach, drink a glass of ordinary apple cider vinegar solution (1 tablespoon per glass of water). On the second day, repeat the treatment. For breakfast, there are wheat bran with kefir (1-2 tablespoons per 1 cup of kefir), more fresh vegetables and fruits, as well as wholemeal bread.

Excess weight. 2 tsp vinegar to 1 glass of water at every meal. Vinegar is simply not able to burn all the accumulated fat cells, but it can reduce cravings for sweets, as well as reduce appetite.

Cleansing the body (removes toxins). In half a glass of cold boiled water, dilute 1 tbsp. a spoonful of apple cider vinegar and add half a glass of sour milk. Mix everything well and drink. Take immediately before breakfast and before dinner - 2 times a day. The course of treatment is one month. After a week, the treatment can be repeated.

Haemorrhoids. External use of apple cider vinegar. In 0.5 liters of apple cider vinegar, add 1 tbsp. a spoonful of chopped celandine grass, close the lid and put in a dark place. Insist 5 days. Strain. A napkin soaked in infusion is applied to a sore spot. Perform the procedure 3 times a day. Internal use of apple cider vinegar. In 0.5 liters of apple cider vinegar, put 3-4 tbsp. spoons of viburnum berries and close the lid. Put in a dark and warm place. Insist for 8 hours. Take 1 teaspoon diluted in ¼ glass of water, 3 times a day before meals. The course of treatment is 2 weeks. If necessary, repeat the course of treatment in a week.

Diabetes. In 0.5 liters of apple cider vinegar, add 3-4 tbsp. spoons of chopped bean sashes, cover the dishes with a lid and put in a dark place. Insist for 10 hours. Take 1-2 teaspoons diluted in a quarter glass of water, 3 times a day 20 minutes before meals. Can be added to food. The course of treatment is long - from 3 months to six months.

Diseases of the cardiovascular system. 50 g of garlic, which must be chopped and pour half a glass of apple cider vinegar. Cover with a lid and put in a warm place. Infuse for 3 days. Then strain and pour into a bottle. Keep refrigerated. Take 8-10 drops in 1 tbsp. spoonful of cold water 3 times a day. The course of treatment is 2 weeks, then a break for a week, and the course of treatment can be repeated.

Apple cider vinegar for cancer. Food rich in antioxidants such as vitamin C and E, as well as beta-carotene, can quench free radical molecules that cause the transformation of normal cells into malignant ones. Apple cider vinegar, containing beta-carotene and fiber, is not a magic potion, but it is extremely useful for reducing the risk of cancer.

You can make your own apple cider vinegar. Overripe fruits or carrion are taken. Wash apples. Crush the soft apples, and cut the hard ones into smaller pieces. Transfer all this gruel to an enameled pan with a wide bottom, pour hot water (65-70 °), add sugar (50 g per 1 kg of sweet apples and 100 g per 1 kg of sour apples). The water should be 3-4 cm above the level of the apples. Place the dishes in a warm place, but not in the sun. You need to stir the mixture often so that it does not dry out on top. After 2 weeks, strain the liquid through gauze folded in 2-3 layers, pour into large jars for fermentation. It is better not to add to the top 5-7 cm. Let it stand for another 2 weeks. Pour the finished vinegar, without shaking, into bottles. Do not top up to the very edge. Strain the sediment through a thick cloth. Cork the bottles with boiled corks. If you want to store vinegar for a long time, fill the corks with paraffin. Store in a dark place at a temperature of 4 to 20°.

For all the usefulness and safety of apple cider vinegar, it is not recommended for patients with gastric ulcer and duodenal ulcer, gastritis, chronic or acute hepatitis, chronic and acute nephritis, urolithiasis.

When cooking and preserving vegetables and fruits, apple, white distilled and wine vinegar are used. But apple cider vinegar is strikingly different from other vinegars in terms of quality, chemical composition and effect on the human body. As a result of wine fermentation, vinegar is obtained, which on average contains 3–9% acetic acid and a small percentage of tartaric acid. It is acetic acid that causes the destruction of living cells. Apple cider vinegar is made from the whole fruit of sweet apple varieties. Due to this, it does not contain acetic acid, which is dangerous for the body, but it contains a sufficient amount of malic acid, which has valuable and beneficial properties. This wonderful organic acid supports normal digestion, being an important building element that interacts with minerals and alkalis in the human body, capable of forming glycogen - a kind of energy reserve. In addition to acid, apple cider vinegar contains flavonoids, a certain amount of trace elements and vitamins.

Making apple cider vinegar from finely chopped apples at home takes a long time, but at the same time it is possible to get a natural product of the highest quality. It may take several months to prepare.

You can use industrial vinegar, but keep in mind that it is prepared from the cores and skins of apples, which leads to some reduction in the quality of the product. In addition, commercially produced vinegar obtained from the fermentation process of young apple wine has a higher price and quality than the same vinegar prepared with apple essence. The first one is recommended to be preferred.

The process of obtaining apple cider vinegar from the fermentation of young apple juice or wine depends on how sweet the varieties of apples were used for this purpose. The more sugar in the raw material, the greater the percentage of alcohol in the wort, which contributes to the formation of acetic acid.

In some cases, to improve the fermentation process, the so-called vinegar uterus is used, which is a foamy mucous film of yeast-like fungi that appears on the surface of fermenting wine or juice. This film itself has active healing properties, three times greater than the healing properties of the vinegar itself. The handling of the vinegar queen must be very careful, because the bacteria are sensitive and can easily die if the fermenting drink is disturbed, for example, by moving it from place to place.

Natural apple cider vinegar can be distinguished from synthetic apple cider vinegar in several ways. It has a strength of 4-5%, while synthetic - usually 9%.

Store-bought organic apple cider vinegar comes with a label that reads: "Ingredients: Apple Cider Vinegar". On the label of a product of synthetic origin, you can read: "composition: acetic acid 9%, flavoring, dye."

The price of natural apple cider vinegar exceeds the price of synthetic more than 2 times.

Medicinal properties of apple cider vinegar

In the past, natural unrefined apple cider vinegar was widely used to treat various ailments. Interest in this folk remedy does not weaken even today, because this product is very easy to use and has proven its effectiveness.

Unlike other types of vinegar (table white and wine), apple cider vinegar is very useful for maintaining the health of the human body and is completely harmless when taken in recommended doses. Regular use of this folk remedy helps to get rid of excess weight, gives a supply of vital energy, helps to normalize the activity of the gastrointestinal tract.

The beneficial effect of apple cider vinegar on blood formation has long been proven by medical experiments. The state of a person's health depends on the state of his blood. As you know, it is produced by the bone marrow. With a frequency of 28 days, the blood is completely renewed. If this periodicity is violated for some reason, health will be damaged. Jarvis described his observations, noting that in a number of cases (sinusitis, hay fever, asthma, trigeminal neuralgia) there is a relationship between the alkaline reaction of the urine and the manifestations of symptoms of the disease. In these cases, he recommended resorting to acetic therapy.

Of course, for a healthy person who regularly consumes a balanced diet rich in vitamins and essential substances, there is no need to shift the acid-base balance of body fluids. Drinking vinegar just like that, "for prevention", there is no need. Before starting vinegar therapy, it is still recommended to consult a doctor who will make an accurate diagnosis.

It is also impossible not to take into account contraindications to the use of apple cider vinegar. With all the usefulness and safety of this remedy, it is not recommended to take it to patients with impaired metabolism of uric acid salts. Also, if a patient has gastric ulcer and duodenal ulcer, gastritis (in hypersecretory form), chronic or acute hepatitis, chronic and acute nephritis, urolithiasis, nephrosis, vinegar treatment is contraindicated.

Although 6% apple cider vinegar in the amount of 1 tablespoon dissolved in water cannot cause significant harm to health, it should be borne in mind that, like any acid, vinegar can corrode tooth enamel and change the environment of the stomach from alkaline to acidic ( in some cases causing damage to the gastric mucosa) when taken on an empty stomach.

Everything is good in moderation, so you can not uncontrollably increase the concentration of apple cider vinegar during treatment. This can cause serious harm to health. Do not treat with this remedy for too long. Therefore, before taking the solution of vinegar, it is recommended to consult a doctor to make sure that this type of treatment suits you, and after taking the remedy, be sure to rinse your mouth.

This method, used for preventive purposes, is extremely simple and affordable. It makes it easy to strengthen the body and maintain health.

Of course, its maximum effectiveness can be felt if factors harmful to health are excluded or limited - such as excessive consumption of fats, carbohydrates, alcohol and other harmful components of the daily diet. Although apple cider vinegar can help restore health in any case.

As you know, preventing a disease is easier than treating it, and apple cider vinegar can do a good job in this.

Prophylactic use of a drink prepared from a solution of apple cider vinegar at room temperature (1 tablespoon per 1 glass of water) with the addition of 1 teaspoon of honey to it stimulates the body's defenses, has a tonic effect, helps to cope with infection during winter flu epidemics, with hypothermia and etc. You need to drink the solution 3 times a day. Before taking the remedy, it is recommended to drink a little fermented baked milk or water (especially for ailments associated with the gastrointestinal tract) to avoid heartburn.

This healing remedy is effective for severe fatigue: 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar are added to 1 glass of cool water, rubbed and massaged with this composition all over the body.

With tired legs, you can use the following remedy: dilute apple cider vinegar (3 cups) in 1 liter of water and make a foot bath.

The cause of many diseases of the gums and teeth (periodontal disease, caries, etc.) is bacterial plaque on them. Therefore, in order to prevent hygienic reasons, it is recommended to rinse the oral cavity 2 times a day (morning and evening) with a solution of apple cider vinegar in warm water (1 teaspoon of vinegar per 1 glass of water). Then, in order not to damage the tooth enamel, you need to brush your teeth with toothpaste.

Cosmetic uses of apple cider vinegar

Facial skin requires good care. In cosmetics, you can use a wonderful natural remedy to improve the condition of the skin of the face: before applying the cream, wipe the skin with an aqueous solution of apple cider vinegar, prepared in a ratio of 1 tablespoon to / glass of water.

Apple cider vinegar can also be used to exfoliate the skin of the face. To do this, the following procedure is carried out once every 7 days: thoroughly cleanse the face with detergents, rinse with plenty of warm water and cover for 3 minutes with a warm terry towel. This compress will make it easier for other substances to get inside the skin, as it will open the pores. Then you should moisten a linen cloth in a warm solution of vinegar (1 tablespoon of vinegar in 2 cups of water), wring out and put on the skin of the face. From above you need to put a terry towel. The compress is kept for 5 minutes, after which the face is washed with warm water and massaged with a moistened terry towel. At the same time, dead scales that have come off due to the action of vinegar are easily removed.

Apple cider vinegar is part of a mask that can be used for oily skin. To do this, take a small cucumber, peel, grind into a pulp, mix with 1 egg yolk and 3 tablespoons of olive oil. Add 1 teaspoon of apple cider vinegar to the resulting mass.

Everything is thoroughly mixed and applied to the skin of the face and neck. The mask is kept on the face for 30 minutes, after which it is washed off with warm water. The skin becomes clean and fresh.

Vinegar and onion juice are used to lighten age spots, including on the face. At the same time, 2 teaspoons of vinegar and 1 teaspoon of onion juice are mixed and applied to problem areas overnight. The same recipe can be used to lighten freckles.

Healthy skin is slightly acidic (pH 5.5), making it the most resistant to skin bacteria and other harmful microorganisms. Therefore, you need to use soap and other detergents that have a minimal alkaline, neutral or acidic solution reaction. After application, they are thoroughly washed off with warm water.

A daily massage (after taking a warm shower) with a mixture of 1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar and 1 cup of warm water brings great benefits to the skin of the body. This procedure restores the acidity of the skin, improves blood circulation, removes soap residue, as a result of which the skin acquires a fresh and healthy look, becomes elastic.

To avoid tightening the skin of the hands from the drying effect of soap, it is recommended to add 5-6 drops of vinegar to the water.

Weathered hands can be brought back to normal if they are lubricated after washing with a cream mixed with apple cider vinegar in a 1: 1 ratio. Hands will become smooth and beautiful.

In order for the hair to acquire a natural shine and beauty, apple cider vinegar is added to the rinse water. The optimal ratio of vinegar and water is 1:9. At the same time, the soap residue is removed, the hair becomes softer and fuller, it is well combed, and the scalp is refreshed. After the procedure, the hair is not rinsed. This is a very effective tool.

The use of apple cider vinegar with rosemary enhances the dark tone of the hair and adds shine to it. The use of apple cider vinegar with chamomile helps to lighten hair. Infusion of vinegar with sage helps to strengthen the hair follicles. All these funds are prepared as follows: pour 1 tablespoon of vegetable raw materials with 1 cup of boiling water, insist, cool and add 1 tablespoon of vinegar.

To get rid of dandruff, warm apple cider vinegar is applied to the skin. Then a plastic cap is put on the hair and the head is covered with a terry towel. After 1 hour, wash your hair with shampoo.

Hair loss can be stopped if every evening the scalp is massaged with a massage brush, which is recommended to be dipped in apple cider vinegar diluted with water (1: 1).

If you are concerned about the unpleasant smell from your feet, then it is recommended to take baths daily with a weak solution of vinegar. To do this, pour warm water into the basin and add 1-2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar to it. Then you should lower your legs into the pelvis for 10-15 minutes. Feet should not be wiped after the procedure, you need to wait until they dry themselves.

To get rid of calluses and keratinized skin on the heels, you should start with a 10-minute bath. To do this, add 1 tablespoon of salt and / a glass of apple cider vinegar to 1 liter of warm water. After that, the keratinized skin will begin to be easily removed with a pumice stone. If you carry out this procedure every week, then the keratinized skin will gradually completely disappear.

How to make apple cider vinegar

As mentioned above, home-made apple cider vinegar is of higher quality, good taste and medicinal properties due to the fact that selected apples are used as raw materials. The concentration of homemade vinegar is somewhat lower compared to the product prepared in industrial conditions.

There are several ways to make apple cider vinegar.

Recipe 1.

This recipe was suggested by Dr. D. S. Jarvis.

Apples are washed, damaged parts are removed. Grate the fruits prepared in this way on a coarse grater. Then the grated apples are placed in an enameled or glass vessel. For every 800 g of raw materials add 1 liter of warm boiled water. In the resulting mixture put honey or sugar (100 g per 1 liter of water). In order for the fermentation process to go faster, dry rye bread is added to the gruel (20 g per 1 liter or 10 g of yeast per liter).

The mixture is kept in an open vessel at a temperature of 20–30 °C. The fermenting gruel is stirred with a wooden spoon 2-3 times a day. After 10 days, it is squeezed through gauze, then the resulting liquid is filtered and placed in a jar, sugar or honey is added (50-100 g per 1 liter of juice), after which the jar is closed with gauze and placed in a warm place to continue fermentation.
