Along with public holidays, which are closely integrated into our lives, church holidays are of particular importance for many. Orthodox holidays. After all, the spiritual component of our life is much more important than the physical one. The most necessary things for us are love, joy, happiness, peace of mind and peace - all these feelings are directly related to our soul.

Almost every day the church celebrates some important Orthodox holiday - be it the historical day of the life of Christ on Earth, the life and work of his disciples and followers. Of course, every church holiday is important for a believer.

However, many Orthodox church dates are not as widespread as government ones, and in order to find out about them, you need to be really interested and imbued with it. By spring, the battle over annual grades is already heating up in schools, and teachers are getting it not only from students, but also from their parents. Fearing reprisals, class teachers refrain from personal public statements, but they communicate willingly in their professional chat. Everyone has similar problems - children and their parents, who do not always demonstrate themselves adequately in the educational process.

Sneaky parents

“Who is this Vasya? - my parents asked with curiosity, returning from the parent-teacher meeting. - His poor mother was ready to sink into the ground hearing about her Vasya! Just try to disgrace us in the same way!”

This was many years ago, but the problem has not gone away: to the class teacher I still want to discuss all problems within the framework of a parent-teacher meeting, so that each parent does not have to deal with it separately. But today's mothers and fathers do not want to silently “fall through the ground”, listening to comments to their child made in front of other parents.

“For the fourth year now I have been working with my class, there are 10 girls and 16 boys,” Alfusya Borisovna Bakhova shares in the chat. - Since the end of last year, a group of five people has been organized in the class, who are more interested in being rude to teachers, being distracted, and running away from the last lessons. For a long time I spoke with the children, had individual conversations, called parents, with whom they also spoke one-on-one. The guys seem to be quite good, but their discipline does not allow teachers to conduct lessons properly, and, of course, they themselves receive bad grades. Although three of them have excellent heads - and they are the best in my math class. But I’m not only a mathematician, but also a class teacher! For a year and a half there were conversations, one-on-one conversations. And today at a parent meeting I couldn’t stand it and in front of all the parents I spoke about the situation that was brewing in the class. She named the names of all five boys, talked about the constant disruption of lessons - in general, she laid it all out. But the reaction of one of the mothers floored me! She began to tell me in a high voice that naming the names of these five in front of everyone was an uneducational act, that now “everyone in the area will talk badly about her child.” She stated that she would complain about me! I was shocked. In 25 years of working at school, not a single parent raised their voice at me.”

“Very often you have to maneuver between two fires,” complains the class teacher of the 9th “B” of one of the capital’s schools, Nina Valerievna. - On the one hand, there are students who disturb the entire class, and their parents, who, instead of listening to the class teacher and calling their children to order, file complaints against the teachers to the school director, and against the director and the school - to the Department of Education, and so on Further. On the other hand, there are parents of “normal”, diligent students who also complain that “the school is not able to create normal conditions for the education of their children." There are “sneaky parents” in almost every classroom. So the colleagues are spinning around like snakes in a frying pan, inventing ways to communicate with them and their children. After all, their children, in turn, also tell their parents about their teachers, although they themselves bring them down.”

What kind of children do “sneak parents” have? According to the unanimous opinion of the teaching staff, “parents who are sneakers” have sneaky children. This generates vicious circle. Knowing that their parents tend to blame the school for everything if they mess up, such children proactively complain at home about the “nagging” and “injustice” of teachers. The problem is that such parents most often keep their children strict, and they are really good boys at home, but let off steam at school. Therefore, it is really difficult for “sneaky parents” to believe that in the classroom their child is transformed beyond recognition.

How to deal with “sneaky parents”? Teachers believe that parents, prone to endless official complaints, judge by themselves - that is, they perceive any public announcement of their children’s misdeeds as a slander. You can fight them with their own weapons.

April 2019 begins with the Annunciation Holy Mother of God, dated 7th number April. Palm Sunday

Palm Sunday

Palm Sunday is tied to the event when Jesus entered Jerusalem. Many came out to meet Him, with palm leaves in their hands. But not everyone reacted to His arrival with jubilation; many saw Jesus as a threat to the policies of the cruel Caesar. To get rid of the problem, they accused Him of an attempt on the throne, and decided to execute Christ.

A week later, everyone who greeted the Savior with jubilation betrayed him and stood in the crowd with the others and threw stones at him while he carried the cross to Mount Golgotha.
