Life often brings dissatisfaction, irritation and stress. For many, especially business owners, this develops into insomnia and uncertainty about the future. Is it possible to do something about this and where is the key to happiness and enjoyment from work? In this article I will try to talk about how I see the solution this kind problems.

Once upon a time in childhood, and perhaps later in life, you felt lightness and simplicity in what you did, spontaneity and some kind of sweet happiness. Children are fully involved in what they do, they play and enjoy every moment. No worries or problems. What is key for a child when he lives with pleasure... - an interesting game!

Then we grow, mature, gain experience, and become influenced by other people’s games and goals, often from those closest to us. What was interesting to us is forgotten, we start playing what is interesting to others. It happens, much less often, that we play something that interests us, but people who do not live up to our hopes, mistakes, feelings of guilt, unachieved goals make us suffer.

We want something different, not what we finally got! Everyone is to blame except ourselves!

Why is this happening? According to my observation, there is only one reason. Our unawareness and inability to manage attention in the present moment. Nobody teaches us this. As a result, attention “gets stuck” in negative experiences of the past. Over time, this creates a negative filter through which we perceive the entire world. A person stops believing people, believes that there are no people who like to help others, there are no different interesting options for solving any problem. As a result, a person believes in a bunch of false beliefs and attitudes. And as you know, “according to your faith it will be done to you.” If this is a manager at work, he ceases to distinguish between those who want to produce a lot and those who want to hide behind the results of others.

It cannot be said that all people have such a condition and position. There are those who are in force various reasons was able to find exactly the activity that he liked. He hones his skills in this, grows professionally, and becomes an expert. And since he likes what he does, his attention is always in the present, completely absorbed in this activity. Results come naturally and without stress, in spontaneity, joy, play.

This is the state of “flow”. It feels as if the Universe itself is taking care of you, lovingly and carefully providing everything you need to solve life’s problems.

It sounds like science fiction, but this is reality, remember - I’m sure that in your life, at least in childhood, you felt this way. I am also sure that you have met such people in your life.

2. Necessary conditions.

2.1. Get and continue to be in the “now”.

It seems as simple as being in the present moment. I will say even more than that - we are ALWAYS in the present moment, there is no other moment.

What is the problem - BEING AWARE of the present moment in the present moment. I apologize for the “butter oil”. Often a person is aware, or rather, his attention goes either to thoughts about the past or the future. And where attention is, there we are, our energy, awareness. Look at the paradox - our attention often goes somewhere else in the present moment. Because we identify ourselves with what our attention is directed at, it seems to us that there is a past or a future. However, these are just thoughts about the past or future in the present.

Something in us really doesn’t want to be in the present. But the fact is that we can only be in that “flow” in the PRESENT moment. Neither in the past nor in the future. This is what it is to live. But what resists cannot live in the present. We’ll talk about this “resistance” later.

Only the present moment opens the door to joy and freedom from the burden of the past. The NOW moment is always fresh, new, bright, rich, spontaneous, filled with quiet and unconditional happiness.

What is stopping you from paying attention now? Our habit is to cling to thoughts, impressions of the past, fears, emotions, desires. Also because of this habit, we have confused the awareness of OURSELVES with our IMAGE OF OURSELVES.

This one is very old and the strongest of existing habits, which literally takes our happiness from under our noses))).

How to find "now"? Just be aware of what you are doing in this moment. Attention will run away out of habit, but if you show patience and vigilance, everything will work out.

2.2. Find your game.

What is your own game? This can also be called the purpose of man.

Purpose is the meaning of existence of a person or an entire team and even a country. It is very, very motivating if everything is found correctly. Among the world's TOP companies, the struggle is precisely at the level of purpose and vision.

People live in a trap called “I’ll be happy tomorrow.” That is, I have to do something today to get something. And when there is a lot of this something, I will be happy.

And that's why. When our emotional condition depends on something external, it is a conditioned positive emotional state called happiness. But there will come a time when this something external will be taken away or it will be lost, etc.

What will happen is suffering, of course! And so in a circle...

Is it not possible to live, enjoy the process, experiencing happiness now, and not in the ephemeral future?

Find that key role that you like to play since childhood and find that activity that brings you a lot of joy and enjoy life! A key role in management language is called a core competency. And the activity that brings the most joy is purpose. Both of these concepts are close in essence, although different, they answer the question - what do I like to do most in life? You will be engaged in this activity even if you have a million in foreign currency))).

But how to find it? That's the question you're probably asking now.

There is data that I have verified regarding key competencies. I wrote here once for a magazine. I can’t post it yet - I promise, but as soon as the article is published, I’ll post it.

Regarding the destination, here, most often, external help is needed to find it correctly.

There are a couple of techniques for those who are especially patient and persistent.

Here's one of them:

“The search for purpose comes down to a simple algorithm. Here's what to do:

1. Take a blank piece of paper or open a word processor where you can type (some people prefer the latter because it's faster).

2. Write at the top: “What is my purpose in life?”

3. Write the answer (any answer) that pops into your head. It doesn't have to be full offer. Short phrase will also work great.

4. Repeat step 3 until you write an answer that makes you feel a surge of emotion. This is your purpose.

It is very important to give yourself fully to the current moment, and not wait for the next one to come. You need to be completely immersed and enjoy what is happening at the present moment.

Mountains of bills are growing before your eyes, and you have no idea how you will pay them. Your mother has Alzheimer's, and caring for her sucks the life out of you. You begin to doubt that anyone even cares about you. But it is at this moment that your heart beats, you breathe, you are not hungry and you have a roof over your head. Under all circumstances, desires and requirements, everything is fine with you. At that moment when you are preparing dinner, or buying groceries at the store, or driving to work, or reading the mail - stop and in the very moment in which you are, remind your consciousness: right now everything is fine with me.

After some time and a certain number of repetitions, the habit of being in the present and calming the mind will actually change neural connections in your brain - this is a special process called neuroplasticity - and this will become your norm.

Documentary evidence is in criminal case No. 141695, and the balance is reflected in case No. 1-62/2005 dated August 10, 2005.

Stanislav Sergeevich Govorukhin, who in 1995 was my public defender in criminal case No. 141695, can confirm the presence of assets. At the trial, it was about 5 billion US dollars at the 1991 exchange rate. However, the ASER TAT account actually contained assets of the USSR in the amount of 5 trillion rubles, which is confirmed by the materials of the criminal case. Three years ago, Govorukhin, when meeting with me in the State Duma, said that he did not understand the question of 5 trillion Soviet rubles in 1991 prices. I asked him to invite his assistant economic issues. Medvedev was invited from Arkhangelsk. I explained everything to him, he understood everything.

If there are attempts to use stolen assets in the SCO countries, these assets must be immediately legalized and coordinated with the global financial system.
