In medicine, know-how exists not only and not so much as a commercial category, but as a way to avoid discrediting a method or approach by incorrect or dishonest use. It is possible to evaluate the effectiveness of a method or approach only if the author uses it.

Notwithstanding the foregoing, I will nonetheless give recommendations in this chapter for dealing with various common colds. I have no doubt that with careful implementation of them, many will achieve remarkable results, although maximum efficiency is possible only after direct work with the patient.

So, the first thing to observe: the restriction of obvious allergens. This refers not only to what causes you a clear allergy, but also to what increases the overall allergic background all people have: chocolate, citrus fruits, white sugar, a lot of fish, a lot of eggs, a lot of white chicken meat, strawberries, a lot of honey.

Next, alternate between days before bedtime or 1 teaspoon castor oil, or 1-2 tablets of allochol, or 2-3 tablets activated carbon(for children, respectively, 1 coffee spoon of oil, 1 tablet of allochol, 1-2 tablets of activated charcoal).

Every day after lunch or dinner, apply a warm heating pad to the liver area for 10-20 minutes (right costal arch area).

Every day 1-2 times massage the back of the head and neck with your hands or a soft massage brush, as well as massage the top of the lower back (above the waist) with your hands or any massager or towel. In the evening, apply a warm heating pad to the top of the lower back for 10-20 minutes.

Take a warm bath with thyme 1-2 times a week. For a bath, you can use a decoction (with a handful of herbs) or essential oil thyme (3-5 drops), or you can simply rinse after washing with thyme decoction from a jug. Children in the bath should take 2-5 drops of oil, depending on age.

Hold a special acupressure- acupressure. Unfortunately, I cannot give individual for each point in absentia, so use the recommendations on acupressure, given, for example, in brochures on Shiatsu (Shiatsu). Of course, the effect will be smaller, but that's why they are absentee recommendations. There are two principles here: you should massage the points to pain from 20 seconds to 1.5 minutes and the more often, the better, that is, you can up to two times a day. However, a good effect will be if you perform acupressure at least 3-4 times a week. With young children, acupressure can be difficult, but you should still do it the way you do it. Naturally, small ones should not massage the points too much.

Practice regularly special exercises from hatha yoga - asanas. First of all, do the poses of a birch, a headstand, a dog, a snake, a grasshopper. There are also two principles here: frequency - the more often, the better, but not bad at least 3-4 times a week; and the second principle is non-violence, that is, perform asanas in such a way that there are no unpleasant or pain. Even if at first you perform asanas clumsily and for a very short time, or even just imitate them. For young children, it is desirable to turn classes into a game and, since they are unlikely to be able to do everything right, at least imitate asanas.

Finally, regularly practice contrast procedures (showers, douches, rubdowns). Here the most important principles are non-violence and "the more often the better", although two to four times a week is enough. Do not perform feats, it is not necessary to douse yourself for a long time, many times and with very cold water. You can do two or three contrast douches with cool or even slightly cool and hot water. The point here is not hardening in the sense in which it is commonly understood, but the training of those complex mechanisms, which, among other things, are also involved in the formation of adequate reactions to the effects of allergens.

So, you have received a clear, simple and harmless program of work on your problem. Of course, after direct diagnosis, this program would be more accurate individually and somewhat more extensive (I cannot give some recommendations without direct diagnosis). However, the above will be enough for many of you to radically solve your problem, since these recommendations, no matter how simple and far from the respiratory tract, nevertheless affect the key, causal mechanisms for the formation of frequent colds.

Everything said above about frequent colds fully applies to frequent and chronic otitis media, bronchitis, sinusitis, pharyngitis. Acute otitis media or sinusitis, bronchitis can be only once in a lifetime, as a result, for example, severe hypothermia, weakening of the body, frequent and chronic - only as a result of allergies. Even the so-called obstructive bronchitis, in fact, is really only "so-called". In this case, in fact, there are no real gross organic obstructive changes in the bronchial mucosa. With bronchoscopy, one can see the uneven lumen of the bronchi, foci of inflammation, atrophy, hypertrophy, but this, again, is a consequence of allergic edema, hypertrophy of the lymphoid tissue that permeates the mucosa, and only secondary focal inflammatory and atrophic changes. Secondary, because in the edematous tissue the blood flow, lymph flow, metabolic processes, regeneration. Just as from frequent colds with the onset of systemic therapy, there is almost always no trace left, the signs of obstructive bronchitis disappear relatively quickly, otitis, sinusitis stop, and in cases of long-term bronchitis. The only exceptions are cases with sinusitis, when previously produced surgical interventions, as well as cases of bronchitis, accompanied by foci of fibrosis (sclerosis) after suffering a very rough acute bronchitis. Any former traumatic surgical injury to any organ makes it difficult to work with it in the future, and the former rough inflammatory process, often leaving fibrous foci, creates a chronic focal difficulty in blood and lymph flow, metabolism, discharge of natural secretions, regeneration, which creates a focus of a nutrient medium for the secondary attachment of infection (infection is not the cause of the diseases being analyzed, as is commonly believed, microorganisms are just happy multiply in stagnant tissue). In these cases, treatment is also effective, but often takes much longer. Sometimes you can't even get absolute effect due to poor resorption of fibrous tissue.

In general, as a rule, my patients with frequent colds, especially children who used to get sick ten to twenty times a year, or even who are almost always in a state of a cold, catch a cold only 1-2-3 times in the next year and get sick easily. and not as before, for two or three weeks, but for two or four days. Unbelievable but it's reality while modern medicine practically useless in such cases. When I pick up articles by luminaries in the field of combating common colds, articles written by a highly scientific "calm", in which hundreds of indicators are analyzed immune status in such patients, and at the end there follows a thoughtful conclusion that, apparently, we still cannot manage to find the last one or two indicators in order to understand everything, but supernova devices and tests will appear, we will find these indicators and easily solve everything problems, - I get scared for modern medicine.

However, we will finish talking about treatment, and I want to make one last important remark. Be patient! Although most of my similar patients good results appear, as I said, quickly enough, with remote treatment, given its not entirely individual nature, it may take a little longer. Be punctual and patient, and your colds will get easier and easier and come less and less.
